Today we are finally beginning demo for our Kitchen Renovation & cutting down our two tiered kitchen island, to become a single level! I'm so excited about this!! Loving the series of makeover videos! I didn't get a good look at the spider plant, but I think that's what we call the the "airplane plant" down here in Dixie. LOL And the snake plant, we call the "mother-in-law tongue." 😄 The airplane plants are so much fun ... they reproduce like crazy and you can transplant the "babies" or give them away. Everything is looking exceptionally great that you've done! It's great motivation, as I recently moved and have some work to get done, as well. God bless you and yours.

Another renovation channel I used to watch always said that they would wait until they'd lived in a house for at least a year to do any kind of big renovation in the kitchen -- and that was such an "aha" moment for me! When you're doing a massive job like that, it makes so much more sense to have some idea about how you really want to be able to live and move in the space.

Omg Amanda! Look at Luke’s biceps as he’s pushing the drill. He’s growing up…..too fast. But it’s wonderful that Kyle is going to start teaching them how to do stuff. My husband’s dad didn’t know any thing, he never did any of that so he didn’t know where to even began. So he’d always hire a workman to come and do the work, always took the car to the mechanic. He wouldn’t even try, he was so worried about making a mess of things. So now my husband is learning so much at this late date. He does everything so perfectly. But it takes him a long time, because it doesn’t come easy to him. But I’m so proud of everything he’s done.

I know right?! He’s working out twice a week with his football team & two practices on top of that! He’s getting so grown! And I’m so thankful Kyle has been handy & learned so much over the years, and is now teaching our boys. That’s hard for your husband if he was never taught that stuff, but amazing that he has taught himself over the years! Love it!
