Awesome - my Nanny lived through the Great Depression and used to hang her clothes, sheets, towels to dry into old age even tho she had a washer and dryer. I’m on a lot of land right now and maybe after the bugs go away I’ll try it more.

Thanks for giving us a peak into your everyday life in December. Although I’m not a Hutterite, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, so I feel as though we are sisters in that sense.

I’m so very very happy that I found your channel last month sweetheart! You are such an inspiration and I wish that more of the young people of your generation and below would learn from your example! You are a true example of Gods light in this world! I’m truly grateful the spirit led me to your channel not just for me but for my children. I’m a mum of 7 and we try to live according to the Word of God. We’ve also tried to raise our kids accordingly but sometimes the world gives them “false “ ideals on how they should live and sometimes they doubt their conviction and their testimony of faith gets weakened. I think that communal living, such as how your community lives, in my opinion, is an amazing way of life and can bring forth such awesome blessings! I unfortunately didn’t grow up as you have but we did our best! Keep your chin up kiddo and continue to find joy and love in everything that you do!! Thank you Sweet girl for sharing your life with us! I believe you are doing an amazing service when it comes down to being a light unto the world!! Tons and tons of HUGS DEAR GIRL!!!

I think I mentioned elsewhere in one of your V/logs that I used to breed and train German Shepherds. I was going to say that Kona (hope I spelled that right - correct me if I am wrong) is at this stage, still very much a pup (a very sweet-natured one too it would appear). You should be starting her basic obedience training about now. This entails teaching her how to; 'come' on command, 'stay' on command, and 'sit,' 'halt' and 'heel' on command. I can and would be only too pleased to guide you through these training routines for her if you would like. Just let me know in your reply. 😊
