Try that setup, casting toward the bank. Let it fall slowly (I use a 1/8 or 1/32 oz weighted hook) jig it lightly and then repeat. The bass on that lake love it during the spawn.

Ramirez They’re in there, some big ones too. It took me a few trips to figure them out but once you figure out what there holding on that day you’ll be a lot more successful. Sometimes they will be in the pads, some times in the deeper wood or on the bank, really depends on the day.
