I live in CA and I hate the fact we have to pay to park. But they do that because a lot of the local Owner Operators leave their equipment there all the time. Up in Hesperia at the Pilot it stays full because of the locals. They drop trailers leave their personal vehicles in the lanes it's a mess. 49er gives you the old school feel. Plus there's a Black Bear in walking distance as well

Thanks for the ride, back in the 60s and forever diners were better then truck stops, pay for parking didn't happen in my day, truck stops wanted our business they gave out S&H green stamps, take the green stamps to their store for some nice things, pull toy here.

I have Niece, she moved to the bay last year. Man they pay more for a one bedroom apartment. Than we can rent a 5 bed 5 bath in Tn for . Don't even have a car out there. Her Husband worked 3 blocks away. She teaches 1 block away. I have not been there in 25 years. Did not leave anything there. And don't plan on going back,
