It feels strange to have a connection with someone you've never met, but I've watched you for all of your years being here. You and your beautiful wife Rebecca, Bentley growing so fast, you maturing as a man (and stopped cussing on video lol, thank you) and a wonderful host of bringing us beautiful Vermont mountains and the secrets they hold. I pray for you and wish all of you the best this winter. And know that anything we hear from you is music to our ears! Your fan base cares Brad. And will stand by you.

Ah, Brad it is SOO good to see you up and around again. I always enjoy your vlogs. Rebecca and Bentley! How much he has grown (as all children seem to do...) I'm amazed you even began the run, but what a great way to show us how much you have improved. I've also enjoyed your "throwback" videos. May you continue to heal.

Brad, I think you're doing well at keeping us subscribers interested and watching. I think you have a great and supportive family, and that alone is enjoyable to see. As a homeowner, there is always something to get done, so you will always be busy, goodness knows I know that! I hope you are able to recover, and know that we will be here for you, regardless. Best wishes!

Enjoyed watching you and your family together. Your little guy is such a character -- I'd like to hear his thoughts about your joint adventures. Good video Brad. It is nice to see your family and you together in the 5 K, I ran one early last summer with my son and his family. At 75 it is getting a bit harder than it used to be. Praying for your healing and continued detecting success. It is awesome to see the early history, we don’t have that here, our area wasn’t settled until the late 1800s.

Keep it up Brad. Some ideas; give us a tour of your finds, visit a museum to show us fine examples of some of the things youve found to give context to the items, talk a little about life in rural New England during the 1700’s, visit a blacksmith, cooper, whatever (maybe visit Sturbridge Village) to show how some of the tools you have found were used back in the day. I grew up in Templeton, MA, on the common, and have always been intrigued - imagining daily life in that area in 1700 and even 1800’s.

Brad, to clean the spring inside the battery box in that situation, I take a pencil or dowel and fold and tape a piece of sandpaper to the end. Twisting it gets off whatever gunk is there. Glad you are progressing to feeling better. Thanks for the Vlog.

When you’re sick some days, it’s hard to even get out of the bed. But, you did good getting out and do the race.. The part I really appreciated about this video was the tour through my hometown of Bennington, Vermont. It has changed a lot in 50 years.. but the character is still there. I seen you passed by the old school where my mother and my sister graduated from. My brother went to the new school the first year it was open and graduated there at the end of the year. My cousin and I used to walk around the school to find dropped change so that we could buy a candy bar while we walked a mile home. We would stop in the store on the corner of Main and Safford St. to buy our goodies. he would always buy candy, I however, would buy the gigantic pickle he had in a jar on the counter. A huge pickle for a nickel..🤣 I love the videos, Brad. I always look forward to them every week.❤

One trick I use for leaky batteries in electric devices is to mix a table spoon of baking powder in a small glass of water and stir it up good, then use a old toothbrush to clean out the battery compartment thoroughly and then dry it off with paper towels. The baking soda water will neutralize any acid in your compartment. I’ve saved several flashlights and a battery operated radio from the dumpster with this method.
