Vlog #9 my eg2 Honda Del Sol Cusco 6pt roll cage custom modded rear interior to fit with cage!!!!

This is a quick video just showing my mock up not yet bolted down of my Cusco 6pt roll cage in my Del Sol. I’ve never seen pics online or videos showing full interior in the rear and I thought I would be the one to show those o are also interested as I was. Like and subscribe and you. Exactly what I been looking for! Thanks man I just bought a del sol for 4K in clean condition interior wise just like yours. It runs pretty damn good just a simple tune up is all paint outside is eh but def nothing bad. I been considering the roll cage but I love my interior too. I’ll def be catching up! Haven’t seen the rest of your bud so yet but hope you did finish 🔥

I will be posting a update as you can see in my vlog I’m currently doing a right hand drive conversion so I’m going to wait until I swap firewalls and get that done and then bolt the cage in. This was more a test fit modifying interior rear cabin to make everything fit like stock.

Yea I will be as this was a mock up after I did everything without bolting it down. I wanted to make sure I was able to do it before just putting a full install video out and thought let me just put a quick video out after what I discovered and done so far. I will do a overview of what I have done all the way to bolting down.

Yes it is a full bolt on cage I didn’t want to do a weld in cage due to the fact that if I wanted to keep the cage and sell the car or if buyer didn’t want the cage it’s nice to know I could keep it...thank you for the compliment the car is coming along great and just how I want it, there is plenty more to install so stay tuned

No not yet after this video I stopped with car do to getting busy season going at work and I didn’t have time approaching the Christmas holiday but I am going to jump back into it and get it done so just subscribe and like that way you will get notification when I post video updates as I’m going to start back on car in a couple days

The place I got it from was MAPerformance.com there is no link to the cage on the website they are a authorized Cusco dealer and I just have them the 6 point cage part number and they just ordered it for me. The part number is 316 261 E and just make sure you verify with them that it’s the 6 point cage. If you don’t get it from them you can find Cusco dealers throughout the country depending on where you from. I picked up my cage after ordering it from MAPerformance because they ordered it and it came straight to Cusco USA which is down the street from my house here in anaheim, Ca. So I picked it up locally from them

How is the seat fitment with the cage?

It’s fine it really all boils down to how tall or big you are. I am ok with it and I am 6’3 plus it depends how you drive do you lean a bit while you drive do you lean more toward the left or right every little thing matters once you have cage. Anyone smaller shouldn’t have a issue at all.

To be honest I am not sure as we only have manual tops here....Cusco is a Japan brand and I know cars out there have transtop so I’m unsure...if I get any info I’ll let you know
