Thumpr, glad you made it to Edgewater, it's my go to favorite. I have found in general snook going north from the park and reds going south. Tarpon in the main channel. It's really hard to get those reds to bite sometimes in the clear skinny water but it's still fun to try. Add to your adventure some day and get there early enough to hit some dock light before daybreak. Time and tides matter here but we go when we can. You're making friends with alot of awesome folks keep up good work.

@neilmaclarty8572 appreciate the tips as usual.😁 I was able to fish a few oyster bars for the 1st time. 🤩 Could tell the tide definitely influences this area more than what I'm used to. Loved the area. Will definitely be going back. Oh, some early morning dock light fishing sounds super fun. I was seriously thinking that when I was leaving the launch area. Oh, I bet those docks are good when dark. 🤩 I'm definitely meeting some amazing people. It's everyone like yourself and those who regularly message me and invite me to places.., that's gotten me where I am today. 🙏 I won't lie. This whole meeting, new people, being on camera, and going out is kinda new for me. I battled some bad social anxieties for many years after my time in the military.. But I made it point when I moved to FL...to set an example for my boys. That if you do what you love, and be a kind, respectful person....you can overcome anything. It's getting easier each time I meet people. 😆 I still sleep like crap the days before🙄. But even small steps in the right direction is progress. I may not have thousands of followers...but I have some amazing people who do. Again, much appreciated.

@BassBashin 100% agree. I go a few times a week, and every trip, I see something new or something amazing everytime. You just have to stop, slow down, and appreciate it.🤩

@BassBashin definitely, I head down that way sometimes. I'm not super familiar with that area. I have fished turkey creek a few times. You can also email me at ThumprFishing@gmail.com Tight lines 😎 🤙

That’s a great area! That one cut y’all were in is a fantastic area during winter once it gets really cold. Live shrimp or 3” Gulp shrimp on 1/4oz jigheads slowly drug or bounced on bottom will be the easiest ticket

@alexanderren1097 yes it's super beautiful. Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely be fishing that area again

If you go to the Google maps of the park you launched and check the images you'll see a big red and a big snook I caught a year ago. I think the red was a 30lb
