What a GREAT bow choreography! Everyone gets their flowers in the very best way.

I absolutely ADORE ETAJ. I saw it 14 times at the Apollo Theatre in its original run and it was the show that made me fall in love with theatre as a whole. I have seen so much amazing theatre BECAUSE of this show and that's why I will always love it and it will always be my favourite ever show. Even if others are technically better it will NEVER be better than Jamie to me.

The afternoon tea looked lovely. I'm going to Everybody's Talking about Jamie this in about three weeks time as an early birthday present.

I wish Jamie would get a better run here in the states. We had the tour come to LA & we have a production being done currently a state over from me by a regional theater. Sadly the political climate here makes a larger scale tour highly unlikely but maybe one day it will come to New York. Aeron looked incredible & so fierce in the makeover & you should try to the makeup yourself posting the results. At the very least he has a future as a ginger.

The makeup demonstration looks like fun. I remember seeing a video about the makeup in Kinky Boots. They've got a few changes there -- Lola starts out in drag makeup, then goes to the more natural look at the factory, then back to drag at the end. The first transition, from drag to more natural, really doesn't have much time (basically, it's the "History of Wrong Guys" scene), and so, rather than removing any of the makeup, they just put a layer of skin-tone makeup over the brighter stuff. And then, for the drag scenes at the end, it's another layer on top of that.

Loved this video, that afternoon tea sounds lovely. We are booked to see Jamie soon during the London segment of the tour and I'm very excited - I saw the live proshot in the cinema and it was wonderful!

I still want the US to get a proper run, but that may not happen. Aeron looked great and yes, I'd love to see you attempt the makeup.

In all honesty watching this is relieving my stress, especially things like at 15:27 where its just nice and unexpected to hear. Mickey Jo, I need to say the way you speak and your gentle tone is very calming. I'm grateful you make these vids, its a nice space to be in, so thank you. 😊❤

Love ETAJ and took my mum to see it at Mayflower in January - she really liked it. Also from the South but for me it’s scone like gone. Jam first or cream first - just get it all on there! It’s not going to last more than a couple of seconds anyway.

I am from NYC and whilst in London, years ago, I saw Jamie. I did not like it at all. I knew they could never bring it to Broadway. It would get brutalized. PS, I saw Bad Cinderella on Bway (and even though I am sick of the theater doing another cinderella) I loved Bad Cinderella. It was beautiful to look at. Great contemporary changes. I loved that prince Charming is a beautiful gay black man who is married to someone who is the Cliche version of prince charming. I went in to hate it and came out loving it. Unless a musical makes it on broadway it just fades away in its country of origin. No one, outside of the theater community, in America anyway, has even heard of Everbody loves Jaime. The Movie stunk as well. I say these things with love and great respect

I loved the timely video today. I have tickets for Jamie March 7:57 15th. Coming over from San Francisco with a friend to see Jamie, Six, and My Neighbor Totoro. I noticed that the Merch booth has no souveneir programs. The touring shows in the US have pretty much stopped selling them as well. I enjoy the programs and have one for every show I've seen all the way back to Annie in the 70s. Do you have any insight as to why they have been discontinued?

Thanks for sharing your stagey day! Confused by your comment on pronouncing “scone.” There is more than one way to say it? Appreciate your comments on theatre/business partnerships. Thanks again.

PS, I loved Bad Cinderella much more than i liked New York,New York, BUT, NY,NY got a best musical nomination from the tony awards. I think theres ALW backlash against his work these days on Bway and the West End. Frank Wildhorn Gets the same critical face slap in NY. I thought Bonnie and Clyde was fabulous but the critics tore it apart. Unfair but true
