Hey Tess! Our 5 month old wasn’t a fan of having his arms swaddled in the Snoo from the beginning either but as soon as we let his arms be free at night he was so happy and content in it! There’s a section in the Snoo manual that talks about how to use the swaddle with the arms out. We started with one arm out and eventually two. He’s been sleeping through the night ever since making his change!

Massaging the kale with an acid like lemon juice or acv breaks down the cell walls of the kale and softens it. Literally goes from tough to tender in 2 minutes! Salt also helps

An easy way to candy nuts is over the stove. Take any nut you like, lightly toast it over med-high heat, then add pure maple syrup to coat the nuts (1/4-1/2 cup per 1 cup nuts), and cook over med-low heat until thickened. Let cool until hardened. Delicious! You can also add some chili powder to add some spice!

I would love to know what it's like not having any help from family. I can't imagine. I had major post-partum issues and a baby that did not want to be put down and would not sleep unless held. She has blossomed into a very independent toddler and enjoying this phase so much!
