Fun fact about the green onions...if you replant them as is, they will continue to grow. Actually we bought some about 1.5 year ago from the store and planted about one inch of the root and stem into a pot. Just cut them about 2" from the bottom (just above dirt line) and they will keep replenishing themselves. Easy peasy! Thanks for the update Jess!

The cicadas in east tn are so loud, like 10 times louder than what you have in the video. We went to visit out family right after they came out of the ground and practically had to yell at each other talking outside. They were everywhere, every inch of ground where there were trees was covered in cicadas, shells, and holes. The trees and bushes were covered, the branches were hanging down from the weight, even the big trees. It was crazy! I remember the sound from last time they came out when I was a kid, it's very recognizable isn't it!

Girl THE CICADAS!!! They were CRAZY where I am in Indiana. Only a few at my house but when I would go drop my toddler off at his Granny's house, we were literally ducking them and dodging them walking up to her door. I’m trying to cut my caffeine down, which is hard because I suffer from migraines, and caffeine is a double edged sword with migraines. Anyways, I live in the south, and you know sweet tea. Which is usually made with black tea, but I’ve made mine with green tea for years now. I use three pitcher bags for a stronger taste, and the first few sips you’re like 🤔 but after that it just tastes like sweet tea. And it’s decaf! 🙃

I believe what you’re hearing are locusts and when they start to call you know summer is nearing its end. Now, when cicadas come out to play, you’ll know. The sound is like no other I’ve heard before and they were EVERYWHERE. They fly into you and they every step is crunchy because there are so many. They swarm and they are everywhere.

You should definitely check imperfect foods, if they are in your area. It's a grocery delivery service that is combating food waste. They essentially take produce/other products that are "imperfect" that stores don't want to buy, but are still perfectly good to eat. The imperfections are things like close to expiration date (not expired), cosmetic stuff, or simply just too much product was produced. They also zero waste/recyclable packaging and you can even send back the ice packs and bags that they send stuff when you receive your next order.

Tati reviewed the Catrice foundation and she loves it. It has been sold out in most shades since that video released. I can’t use it because they don’t have my shade with an olive undertone . If you can find a shade, I’m sure it is a wonderful foundation.

@@Nat_Fishman I can’t find too many at the drugstore. Armani Beauty or Dior make the best that I can find. The Flower Beauty get real serum foundation in classic tan is a good undertone for me. It is drugstore. Cover Girl skin milk foundation light medium 550 is the right undertone. The medium shade is not the right undertone. It is trial and error at the drugstore, unfortunately.

I researched the best tasting decaf, because I can no longer have caffeine. I order the volcanica house blend in decaf. Can get in grounds or beans. Even the big coffee drinkers in my life are impressed with this coffee. You would never know it’s decaf. It’s so smooth. That said, volcanica has quite a large selection of decafs and I have tried others that are good. But I prefer the house blend.

If you’re looking for cute comfortable sandals or flats, check out Crocs!! Not the clog kind, but they make amazing flip flops and my most favorite flats ever. They’re incredibly comfortable and don’t look like what most think what Crocs look like. I went for a 2 mile walk in my Croc flip flops last week, that’s how comfy they are. And the flats, I have the Kadee style, I would 100% wear for a day at Disney, or the whole trip including dinner, cause they’re easily dressed up or down. I have the Kadee ii in the flip flops, Kadee is the way to go! I bought my pairs last April/May and I’ve worn them nearly every day since (even in the slushy New England winter with my flats) and they’re in perfect condition, no problems. My husband loves his Croc flip flops, too. He was skeptical but he’s a believer now, he wears them literally every day. My next purchase is the Kadee Slingback, they look perfect for going out to dinner but you have to walk to the restaurant kinda far from the car so you want comfy shoes but something that looks nice too. I 100% am a Croc person now, my toddler loves his knockoff Crocs too. It pains me to spend $35-45 on a pair of shoes my 18mo will grow out of way too quick.

I used to have a problem with itchy legs as well, so bad I used to scratch them in my sleep and made them bleed. After watching an article about Sodium Laureth Sulphate (it’s an irritant to skin) I switched to using SLS free body wash and I no longer suffer with the problem. I’ve been using Jason body wash for years now, they have loads of different scents, I wouldn’t use anything else now.

You should check out the Boie body scrubbers in lieu of a loofah. They're silicone and anti-microbial. You can send them back to the company for them to recycle! Also, just bought a similar pair of Tom's sandals and am hoping they're just as comfy.
