Hi, friends! I think this video is one of my favorites out of all the ones I've posted over the past few months~ I think it's because I talked about studying Korean and I filmed so many funny interactions with my friends haha

Ooh, I've been excited to hear your thoughts on the Korean History/Culture book since you first bought it. Since you like it so far, I think I might get it, too. And to hear it's a series?! Amazing news.

Thanks for taking us along! 광주 was really nice and loved all the flags being represented. I’m always really curious when other Korean learners make a suggestion to focus your Korean learning on topics that you find interesting. I will look for some books in the future for myself in the topic that I find interesting! You’re friends seem so fun. Please don’t take my suggestion if you don’t want to bc you mentioned the direction of your channel but I also know privacy is a huge thing for me and other, but seeing your friends talking made me think a cool video would be on their perspective on living in Korea or certain topics, even what they think about those wanting to learn about their culture/language. Thanks for the great video, again!

5:56 I got this book when I was in Korea in September, and it’s quite good. I’m also pretty sure I bought it in this exact bookstore (the Kyobo near Gwanghwamun 😅)

Korea Today. A lot of specific words but I love learning random vocabulary 😝 It was easy to understand though, made me feel better at Korean than I actually am 😂

5:33 --The guy on the right side on the stairs was me. :) It was FANTASTIC meeting you that day. Completely by coincidence too! As I said, you have been and continue to be an amazing inspiration to me as a Korean learner myself. I wish you ALL the best in your continued life in Korea! PS. She's not kidding about Gyobo being INSANELY crowded that day. I ended up not being able to get anything because it was so crowded lol. Still, its an amazing bookstore to go to--like many of the bookstores there haha.

You just convinced me to get that Criminal Profiling in Korea book even if I am not that high in korean level( I am sort of a intermediate level though unhappy with my skills gained through self- studying) but i love collecting books in korean. Those are my little treasure. It's hard to find proper books available in Europe.. and I am in a country where korean language and culture is not yet that popular comparing to chinese or japanese. That is how i self -studied english as well. I learned a bit of basic and suddenly getting into books written in the native language. I am a bit greedy..I know.

You're wearing a mask outside :(. That looks like the bookstore in Gangnam I frequented almost daily when I was in.. well Gangnam studying in October :). I was surprised at how many Talk to Me in Korean books they had. Is Chamshil right next to Gangnam and I didn't realize I had left Gangnam? The more I think about it the more I think there was a subway station right there with Chamshil signs all over the place.

Ahhhhh~ So I went to a location that is more central than Gangnam, but all the Kyobo's look the same inside haha As for Jamsil and Gangnam, yes! They are right next to each other~ Gangnam station is only a few stops away from Jamsil Station on line 2! OMG I know~ There are soooo many TTMIK books in the bookstores here~ As for the mask, we are allowed to take it off outside but I was going in and out of so many little stores on my way to the bookstore (that I didn't film) that it was easier to just keep it on~ Also like Someday Korean mention it helps with staying warm~
