I go home (the States) and I’m like “oh I feel on the smaller side” but yeah, here, I’m like “I am trying to walk everywhere and there is NO WAY I could be as small as the people I’m around even if I stopped eating” it definitely is a mind fluff for sure

I know what you mean~ I'm definitely more comfortable in my body in the States~ I can't even imagine my body being the size of the majority of the women here~ I'm sure it's possible since I'm rather petite, but not without some very VERY dedicated diet and exercise changes...

Always love how honest you are. What you were mentioning about weight, it was so relatable, I've been an emotional eater since I was a teen and I've always been a a little overweight which made me feel so self conscious, even though I was eating healthy then I ended up binge eating sweets and it was like a spiral. Last novemeber I decided to start therapy and comfort this (since I've been dealing with it for more than 12 years) and right now I've cut processed sugar completely since February, I've lost 15kg and I finally went back to enjoy working out as I used too, in my case, it was completely related to my mental health so I so glad I decided to start therapy even though I was terrified to comfront some things. I hope you start to feel better too, don't be so hard on yourself, you've had a lot on your plate lately and you're doing amazing!! sending you so much love!!

I know what you mean~ I have tendency to spiral as well ㅠㅠ For me, it's when I set health goals related to food and then slip up 😓😓😓 Congratulations on your progress~ It's brave to go out and seek help. Especially when it involves having to share your struggles with others. Thank you~ I am hoping to make small changes over time as I don't think I have the mental and emotional energy to out towards making a lot of lifestyle changes at once~ 화이팅 to us both~!

@@NataliaGarza it was difficult for me to seek for help because I’ve had a hard time speaking about it in therapy but it really helped. I’m sure you’ll be able to make those small changes over time especially now that you are more settled into your new routine just take one day at a time 💜 you can do it!! 화이팅🫶🏻

I always appreciate your honesty and it is a good sign that you noticed you were feeling uncomfortable/unhealthy and are taking active steps towards getting better. It may be hard but once you have established new habits they will stick and you'll feel better ❤️ Not sure if this will be helpful but what helped me with feeling more secure nutrition and food-wise is definitely cutting down on sweets (not zero at all but just less), taking lunch with me, and eating more volume foods like veggies, salad etc. 😊 Also, as someone who also suffers(?) from oily skin I'd love it if you could review skincare products more often! ❤️ And sun sticks are really helpful but it's difficult to apply the necessary amount 😅

I gained so much weight during the pandemic too...until now it is so hard to loose it...but I am just trying to have a more balanced food...I am still eating until i feel satisfied but making sure my food has everything i need: protein, carb and a half a plate of vegetables! sometimes it takes time to prepare the vegetables but i at least throw a whole tomato plus my food to stay healthy in the worst days...I am sure someday, when i have more time (work consumes my life right now) i will be able to add excersises too...and be able to feel more healthy (and with luck, i could also loose some weigh). Thank you so much for these kind of videos !!! and I hope you success in obteining a good work'life balance

The way you talked about losing weight and fluctuations with weight is definitely what im going through now too. Plus, calorie counting never really had an emotional attachment to me. I cant tell you how amazing and different after just drinking more WATER. Like have i been dehydrated my whole life?! haha.
@NataliaGarza
@NataliaGarza 10 ай бұрын
Ahahah drinking more water is also something I'm trying to focus on~ I realized that once I started working, I was lucky if I drank more than one cup of water the whole day. Which is crazy! Now I try to only drink one non-water beverage a day, max 2! Everything else is water~ And like you said, I can definitely feel the difference~

Yes, the skinfood honey line is so good. Also the dewytree snail line is great. I'm glad you didn't accidentally open the new cleansing balm lol Since your skincare drawer is looking pretty full, as is my skincare shelf, I've found it helpful to, within each step, cleanser, toner, essence, etc to number which one I'll use next based on when they expire. I'm not sure if this will help you or anyone else, but, it's really been helping me. I kept trying different apps to keep track of things, but then the app would crash, and all my data would be gone. Permanent marker much safer :) Edit: sunsticks are super convenient but I'm always afraid I'll miss a spot with the shape. I've been using Kose - Suncut UV Perfect Gel Super Water Proof SPF 50+ PA++++ and Rohto Mentholatum - Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ and they're really nice :D Edit 2: added sugar will absolutely rob you of energy and make you feel yucky. I had soooooooo much added sugar from cookies, cake, and icecream for several months in a row and I barely felt alive. Zero energy or concentration. No exercising while at home. I switched to no sugar added pb for my sandwiches and it is great. I don't have icecream everyday anymore, but only when a new flavor comes out I want to try. So once every couple of months. I have a lot of salmon for healthy omega3 fatty acids to help all sorts of things and mixing with it vinaigrette is an awesome flavor explosion. Dipping bell peppers in sour cream dip is my new favorite thing and I don't even miss the corn chips which makes me thrilled etc It really is all the lil changes that help. Edit 3: sorry for the book. I have, well, had, eighteen piercings total, and H2ocean brand products are amazing for both tattoos and piercings ^.^

Yessssss~ I love the essence I showed in this video~ It's so nice~ I actually think it's moisturized my skin to the point that my skin is waaaaay less oily now~ Crazy~ Oh, I know~ my company sends us home with skincare every other week to the point that I've started giving some of it away as gifts because there's no way I can use all of it. I know what you mean~ I tend to go over my face several times with the sun stick to make sure I got everything~ However it's been pretty nice because the past few weeks I've been applying it in the subway or at my desk at work.

I used to be much better about it when I lived on the first floor of a tiny little three-floor building, but now that I live in a taller building it's SUCH a hassle to bring crap down the elevator to the basement. And OMG my stomach is the same way! When I'm at home, hours and hours will pass and I don't even think about food, but at work it'll be like one hour into the workday and my stomach is like "GROWLLLL FEED MEEEE" haha. Why is it like that??

With the doctor opening times, I'd say maybe it depends? In my city (not Seoul to be clear) they open at 8:00 or 8:30 and close at 5-6PM, but I do wish the grocery stores opened before 10AM. In terms of food, I was the same way before I changed jobs, in terms of eating poorly. Plus, Korean grocery stores don't have the level of options the we have back home in the US. I'm lucky in that I live in the countryside part of my city since I have access to the traditional market, so the healthy food is at least tastier (and I get to support my local farming community :)

I usually never leave comments but the comment that was made about the sick days........most people don't have the privilege to not work for a company just because they don't offer sick days. Most people are just trying to survive and feed their family's. So for someone to make that comment even if they didn't mean for it to come off mean/rude, it came from a very inside a bubble mindset.

I'm triggered. I am going to get back on the diet wagon. Unfortunately dieting is hard and requires motivation and I am not that motivated. Your poster freaked me out. I have almost the same sleep schedule - actually you're slightly worse than me by about 30 minutes. Here's something I read that I'm trying to use to motivate myself to go to bed earlier: Money is nice, but sleep is even nicer. Don't think so? According to one study by Daniel Kahneman, just one little hour of extra sleep each night has more impact on day-to-day happiness levels than a raise of $60,000. So sleep away your worries-literally. Of all the advice / reasons to sleep more I think this one hits home the most.

I remember a few years ago when people freaked out because it was announced that Skinfood was going out of business. Then it just... didn't. The differences in work culture between countries is wild. When I moved from the US to the UK the concept of 'annual leave' blew my mind. By law most people are entitled to 28 paid vacation days a year and sick leave was just assumed as a basic right. I had people actually look at me in confusion when I asked about how many sick days were allowed in a month/year. They were like "What? If you're sick you're sick, don't come into work and don't worry about it, just let us know if it's going to be more than a week" (And obviously there will be exceptions and different experiences as well b/c no place is perfect). I miss it.🥲
