Something that helped me with controlling screen time is consciously doing ONE THING AT A TIME I am so used to multi-tasking and mindlessly checking multiple screens at a time (laptop browser tabs AND phone, watching a movie and STILL checking the phone, reading a book and checking notifs) but there just isn't a need to do that. Not only do I get to finish a task quicker, I just like the feeling for regaining self control.

We had a similar situation. A cat showed up at our home. It was quite thin, so I told my husband I was going to feed it if it came around 4 more days. And so it did. And it states with us for a year. We named him “Little Man.” Later, we found out that he actually belonged to a neighbor down the road and was simply a regular visitor. We also found out that “Little Man” was a little woman. It really does shake one up! Thanks for sharing! Brought back memories and made me laugh. 😊

Big news.. Hi Frank. We also have a neighbor's cat that visits, he practically lives here, his name is Dewey. Cats aren't restricted by the current situation. We've done well here so far and can travel within the Atlantic Bubble but we haven't really gone anywhere. The new haircut looks great and like the color too. Take care and stay well. Was about to comment the same! I'm swedish too, so when Lizzy was like "it's a danish brand" I was just like ??? had to google it myself, was afraid for a moment it'd been a mandela effect, hehe. Also just now tried to write out how it's pronounced but found it very hard indeed, it is after all a surname, and so the best i can do for you Lizzy (and other non Swedish speakers) is I think try to write out different english words that sort of translate pronunciation wise. Ro-de-bjer = ro like row but quite a bit silent at the w there. If you are acquainted with the Swedish alphabet it'd say it's pronounced like "råh" De = "dä" in Swedish, in English I would maybe go for something like the hard way you'd pronounce the first few letters in the word DElta so hard pronunciation on DE Bjer = the "j" is pronounced like the "j" in "jam" (dj or ʤ phonetically). Just don't forget the B, and then end it with a normal sounding "er", just like any other suffix in a word! (i.e. helpER) So: ROw+DE+BJer (uppercase letter meaning put emphasis here) This might've been a waste of all our time, BUT ah anyway, was kinda fun to think on this and try to make sense of my own language and how we pronounce things. Plot twist! This happened to my mum, just after I moved to England a ginger cat started visiting her and she called it Syrup. But now we think it’s a boy so it’s Mr Syrup instead. Hehe

The closest place near London that i've found which is similar to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park is the Henry Moore Foundation which is near Stansted airport. Definitely worth a visit if you still have the car :)

Ah, I’m disappointed! I thought you were going to say that Frank’s owners were moving and were offering you the cat. That happened to me when I was 10. Neighbours cat always in our garden, hated being at home as they had a dog, neighbours asked ME (child) if I wanted the cat, of course I said yes. WITHOUT ASKING MY PARENTS. Came skipping down the path with bowls and cat food and announced the big news to my parents. I so wanted you to be Frank’s new mummy!! 😂

the brand of the yellow cardigan i swedish! but I'm Swedish and have loved the brand for years and i thought it was Danish too... after i listened to the founder talking about her life on a radio program I realized that most Swedish people say it wrong including me haha. Hello Lizzy, love your hair short! Re cooking, I have just discovered a cookbook called The Roasting Tin (turns out it's now a whole series) that is all about using just one pan, but also it explains the concept behind what's happening with each type of main ingredient so you can riff to your heart's content on each one. Tonight I made whole trout roasted over thin-sliced sweet potatoes and onions. Very interested in this 'new' (to me) brand, Tricot. If you are looking for a subject for Testing Basics I wonder if you could do the ideal tailored wool trousers. I have been trying to find the ideal ones and cannot find them. (Personally I need belt loops, not too fitted, not sweeping the floor, not itchy, etc.) I have ordered a gorgeous-looking dark dark navy pair from Raey that might be dark enough to stand in for black but I will still be on the lookout for an actually black pair. Meanwhile, about the Coronavirus regs in the UK: watching them from mainland Europe I am having a hard time understanding what is going on! Yikes, hope it gets better.
