I think that when you declutter you should only get rid of stuff that you really never wear , that is too big or too small, and not the things that really hurt to part with because you love them. Maybe next year you love them less, so there is always time to throw things out.

Although I wholeheartedly agree with you in most cases…anything I buy new is meant to be a lifetime item for myself if I can make it last…but I’ve been buying and selling vintage for over a decade now and I theoretically source it to sell..it just inevitably ends up getting mixed in with my own wardrobe 😂 so I’m constantly fighting with myself and my bank account. So a dress that’s worth $300 that I want to keep needs to be paid for with my other vintage clothing. I feel like it’s girl math but it’s how my wardrobe works… for now 😂
