love your video! i’m planning on going to South Korea next year february as an intern (marketing). I already got some help for it but I was wondering was it hard for a foreigner when you started your first one and do you get paid for some internships? I’m not really confident but it’s really a dream to go there and especially work in another country☁️

That sounds wonderful! Congratulations! :) Yes, in my case this is a paid internship. Unfortunately I'm not sure if that is the norm, but I would guess that most internships are paid! As for the work, I had no difficulties in starting because I had some previous experience and am doing everything in English. However, getting used to the Korean work culture definitely takes some time and it would also be very helpful for you to speak Korean (maybe you already do)! I think it would help you improve your relationships with co-workers, unless they can speak your target language. Either way, learning about some Korean office culture things and having a good understanding of your type of marketing would be great to prepare you to start because, in my case, there was not really a training period for my job. I think most companies expect you to start working right away so just prepare as much as you can! Good luck and let me know if I can help :)

I really like social media marketing so I hope I can find an internship related to that! and no, I don’t speak Korean (yet) but i’m trying to learn the basics at least! Also, on the internet they say most internships in Korea don’t pay but I hope I can find one like you because it’s α lot easier to live there hehe. @@zodie4085 it’s a internship company in my country who’s helping me! it’s really hard to plan everything all by yourself so maybe get in contact with internship companies in your country :))
