I got up out of my bed grabbed my new Bible, my posted notes, and markers. I ordered it in January never used it like I plan on doing. Opened up my app Bible and Paper Bible started reading. I've been natural for about 13 years now. I'm rocking the braids at the moment but I've always loved my curly hair. When I was transitioning, I had my first ever sew-in. after 3 months, I cut the remaining 2 inches of the relaxed hair off.

This is. Sign. I had a situation today w/ my nail tech also that required my patience & strength. She painted my nails pink but my toes orange but tried to convince me the colors were a match from the set. Instead of offering to correct it, she went on to the next customer & told me to wait. Normally I'd b upset bc im going to an event tmrw evening & wanted my nails to match. But then I thought about how blessed I was to even be able to afford my nails to b done & how there r so many worse things in this world. I decided to leave & just look at the bright side of my mix-matched nails. Lol. When I got home & tried on my outfit I will b wearing, the black made my Mani & Pedi color look similar. So I have really matured, bc small things like that used to upset me bc its the principle behind the situation. But I enjoyed my day & told myself I had a great day & those situations didn't messed up my day off from work.

A few months ago I relaxed my hair for the first time and years and initially loved it. But now I'm over it LOL.. I like it because my hair is short and I really wanted to rock the bob for a bit in the summer. But as my hair grows back in, I'm really struggling with the 2 textures. And I'm actually noticing a lot of breakage in parts.. It's really annoying. Last time I tried to transition I got fed up and just big chopped. I'm hoping to transition enough this time to not have super short hair again but it's taking a lot out of me. Probably just going to switch to traditional sew-ins, too
