Dang, you live very close to me or commute close to me. I'm off Tuckerton, which is right off of Huffmeister. Great Vid. I commute from this area to Pasadena every day for work. Except weekends of course.

I have a 2008 Honda VFR 800 that I don't dive much in Houston traffic because of all the idiots in cages paying on their phones and the infotainment displays on their cars. When I ride its usually early Saturday morning before the sun rises and there's almost no traffic. I've had too many close calls during regular traffic time, so not anymore.

Yep, H-Town cagers are a dangerous breed. I'm a full-time moto commuter, so I've learned to deal with it as best as I can. Unfortunately, my wreck last October was unavoidable because of a road-raging cager. I've been riding 40+ years and over 2M miles, and that was my first time down on the pavement with injuries. I'm ready to move out of this city... too many people and too much animosity. 😒 --QM

I have been researching the Kymco AK550i ABS also. In the U.S., we get the standard model which has a 2 position manual windshield, heated grips, ABS, and NOODOE info/nav screen like Android Auto. Lists for $10,399. A new old stock '22-'23 bike can go for $7,400-$9,000 on Cycletrader. The rest of the world gets the Premium model with electric windshield, heated grips, CRUISE CONTROL, turning ABS, and Traction Control for about 2 grand more. Hey, that music you played at the end was cool and would have made me twist the throttle a lot more!

Really intrigued by the Kymco ak550, new old stock here goes for 7999 plus fees etc but that’s about $2400 off. Similar concern on reliability/ dealer network. Selling my 14’ Forza with 3k miles and looking to move up a bit. Burgman 400 or Xmax on the list of potential replacements. Great vids!

Having had an xmax for 3 years now I thoroughly recommend. It will travel all day at 70 plus, return 100 mpg, handles like a bike and has plenty of storage. I have a 46 litre top box fitted and regularly go away for weekends no problems.

I acquired a 22 AK 550 five months ago and I Absofriggenlootley love it! Best dam 10 grand I ever spent! It’s a bit snappy off the line but i quickly got used to it. I literally hate dismounting off of it cause I still wanna ride! Lol. Luckily I bought it from a legit Kymco Dealer in Canton Texas which is about an hour from my house. If anyone is lookin for one, they still have one with 50 miles on it going for a great price.

Silverwing looks like a well planted scoot. I love my Navi for city scoots here in Colombia. Lookin' at an Nmax 300 for little longer expeditions, any experience with one of those Yammies?

Can i just say,50mpg for a 600cc scooter isn't that good i think. Heck,your CB500X does over 70mpg if i remembered correctly. And your Rebel which has nearly twice the displacement does around 40+mpg
@QuasiRAW3 ай бұрын
Yep, the Silverwing's economy isn't stellar at 50 MPG, but it's on par with other 20-year-old bikes and scoots. I started riding the CB500X as a more efficient commuter because it gets ~65 MPG along the same routes and speeds. 😉👍 --QM

Hi Quasi. You were mentioning about Inflation but for some weird reason everybody in your country acts like the damn crap is not Worldwide. Truth is, You guys actually in Better shape than Every country in the G 20 in regards to Inflation. We Canadians pay as much attention to your politics as we do our own because of the simple fact that what affects you. Most of time affects us as well. Everyone thinks that Trump is Better for Your Economy, but Nothing Is Going to Be Further from the Truth at least this time.. You guys are actually going to get Royally Screwed by him Financially if he becomes President Again. Trumps Tariffs 20% on Everything coming into the United States is going to make Inflation look like Nothing in Comparison., I understand these Tariffs will also include the Oil to make Gasoline. I tried to post a link to be able to Prove it to you how badly you're going to get screwed over If he gets in again. But KZbin was sending me an error message every time I tried to post it so I couldn't prove it to You and Everyone,. You're looking at 4 to 5,ooo a year in costs for four years. Anyway. You mentioned the Bergman 650 it was Discontinued in 2018 which I wasn't impressed by because I really like that motorbike and I'm not even sure why? You said that You owned a couple of them over the years and I was Curious to what you're thoughts were on that particular bike? Also You know how you mentioned about having to Buy a Motorcycle Jacket and that got me thinking ! You said that You don't make very much money off your KZbin channel. Basically, Nothing! So it's ly good for being a Hobby and lets you share your Passion for motorbike riding!!! Well! I want you to Seriously Reconsider Reevaluating what you said about doing Reviews and here's Why? You remember that Koffman exhaust that you got given to you because they wanted your opinion? What was the value of that? I mean How Many Other Things Would You Have Would You Have Not Needed to Pay for Since You First Mentioned Reviews A Few Years Ago? If You added up all the Bills You would be might be shocked at the amount you would've saved, and that includes camera equipment and so many other things you might convince yourself to reconsider doing Reviews. I am simply talking about the things that you would endorse or give a positive review of if it meets your standards. It would sure make your channels a lot more profitable especially if you created another channel and called it Quasi's Reviews. Ask yourself this question. Why should so many other people get stuff to do videos and other things first things that they would use themselves and you're not getting them. Why not do a video and ask people if they think you should be doing reviews and I guarantee the answer will be Yes!! People know you will tell them what you honestly think and even asked people what you're doing live streaming to get some feedback . Besides you are getting support from people in other ways but this way you get to do something for yourself too! People want to see somebody give them an honest review of different products good or not good. I seem to remember you saying something about a product he thought was Garbage, that is exactly what I'm talking about. You're doing people a favor saving them time and money and different cycle shops . If you've done a review on something you can tell them so they won't carry that product anymore. That saves them time and money. Anyway, think about it, but I don't see why you're not doing reviews because you already did one for that Exhaust you liked. Since you're always doing trips you could incorporate doing reviews while you're doing your traveling on different bike tours.. You don't have to do it full time. Just do it on the side. When you have time then you get the benefit of it instead of doing it for free, at least you'll get something out of it. Just thought I would give you something to think about again. Have a Good One and a Good Ride. John
