I looked up 'Eavestrough' on Wikipedia and got this definition: A rain gutter is a narrow channel, or trough, forming the component of a roof system which collects and diverts rainwater shed by the roof. It is also known as an eavestrough (especially in Canada), eaves channel[1] guttering or simply as a gutter. *Notice the "especially in Canada" part? There you have it!

It's so weird to see Tim Deegan in these vlogs! I used to watch Much Music like every day when I was younger, and now I watch the Shaytards every day and seeing him on there is so unexpected. I never expected those two spheres to cross!

So glad that Shay brought me here! I watched your guys' last couple of Vlogs and I think it is so cool that we get to see the behind the scene footage for this documentary. I also realized that this is something that I want to do with my life! I want to bigger, higher quality videos someday. Or work on a huge production like this documentary. Thank you so much! Do you guys have any advice for someone aspiring to do this for a living? Or advice on how to get started? Thanks again!

Woah, my mind is blown! An eaves trough?! I've never heard that before, only a rain gutter!
@kylie902212 жыл бұрын
A rain gutter is on the ground, an eavestrough catches the rain from your roof and channels it to the ground

I have always known them as eavestroughs. they are troughs attached to the eaves of the house. though I understand its use, the gutter is what I usually call the curb edge of the street.

Eaves trough- A gutter at the eaves of a roof for carrying off rainwater. It may be of wood or metal attached to the eaves, or a built-in part of the eaves design usually lined with metal. Technically you're both right but being in 'Murica makes Alex a bit more correct.
