Clancy, don’t worry about being induced or c-sections! I have 3 kids and with my first, I was induced and labor came on quickly. I pushed for 2 hrs and she got stuck, so I had to have an emergency c-section and it was so much less painful then pushing! So with my next two children, I had a planned c-section and it was a dream! I was able to shower myself (without help) within two days and the recovery was not bad at all! Just listen to your body and do what works for you and your baby! And enjoy every second after birth because it is magical no matter how you deliver! The days on the hospital are some of the best days of my life because I finally got to meet my baby and it’s so, so incredible! Congrats girl, I’ve been following you for years and am so excited for you guys! ❤️

A peri bottle is still very useful for a c section, just a heads up lol I used one after mine! They give you one in the hospital but it’s not angled so I definitely suggest buying one!! That and my abdominal binder were the most helpful things to me postpartum (and adult diapers of course 😂)

I felt the same way in April when I gave birth to my daughter, I didn’t think there was a way that I could love something as much as I loved my dog. You will love him so much it’s unbelievable

the nice thing about child birth is once the baby is in your arms it is all worth it and our bodies release something to help us forget the actual pain, I had 42 and a half hours labor 36 years ago and I cannot remember the pain at all

Just started the video but heads up - you still need a peri bottle for c section!! Lots of stuff comes out for a loooong time after and they usually advise you not to wipe for the first bit and to spray the area with the peri bottle! Excited for you! Boy moms are the best! 🩵🩵🩵

I remember going into labor and the nurses going “she’s still sitting really high”. They had me rolling all over the bed while in labor trying to push my daughter lower. 😂 Then to make it better, she was facing the wrong way after all that, so they had me start pushing early without the doctor to try and flip her. She finally flipped and the nurse was like “I’m going to need you to stop pushing, let’s let the doctor deliver this baby”. But at that point, my body was doing it on its own. Good news, doctor did make it in time to deliver her. 😂

You still need a Perie bottle for after a c-section! You still bleed afterwards, but it’s not as heavy. The hospital also provides the pads and mesh undies for the first few days and a perie bottle postpartum.

I had an induction at 39+4 days because my baby girl was measuring large (2 weeks ahead). My experience was extremely positive, the process went really fast and smoothly. I’m glad I trusted my OB’s advices because, in my case, the measurements were right. My girl was born at a little over 9 lbs!

I love dates I could eat 20 at once lol, but if you're not a fan they go SO WELL in a smoothie! Blend up 6-8 with bananas, oat milk, whatever else, it's amazing as a subtle sweetener in a smoothie

I was induced with my first. From the time that the whole induction process was started till my baby being born it was literally 12 hours and some change!! if you are induced, it might not take you the long amount of time that some people say. I feel like it all depends on the individuals body! Best of luck!! 🩵💙
