Aww fun, you where in DC for the CB parade! I’m from DC (proper) and it would have been so fun to do a brunch meet and greet with others. I hope you definitely revisit when it’s warmer and I hope you enjoyed our fair city. This year the weather has been on the finicky side. It got real warm so of course the Cherry Blossoms popped out thinking they were fine then the temps dropped so bad killing them. They weren’t out for very long this year. 😞 I couldn’t fully tell but it looked like it was still one of the Cherry trees just not the prevalent variety on the Tidal Basin which is the Yoshino Cherry Blossom.

Yes I'll definitely be back! It's a beautiful city and I enjoyed it very much.That was my first time there and I cant wait to go back. I kept asking everyone around me if it was a cherry tree and everybody kept saying no lol! I kept thinking it looks like one though but I certainly didn't know for sure 🤔😂
