I’m just here to say that we love you and we understand if you need all the time in the world to recover and enjoy your baby. I know you might feel like you owe us a video or you’re so behind. You will not be. We will all patiently wait for any updates. Your baby will come when he’s ready and when you are too. I think once he’s here all of these things and fears in your head won’t even matter and you’ll look back and think “why did I feel that Way”

We have a meal train going with community and it’s so helpful!!! I have a 20 month old and now a 5 day old, so again so helpful and another option. But, food for afterwards is great that you don’t have to prep.

I hope your pregnancy continues to be happy and healthy! I am pregnant with my fourth and all of my babies have come naturally at 38 or 39 weeks no c-section. I would say your labor and birth experience would be similar to your mom or aunts. My mom, aunts, and me had fast labors and delivery less than 8 hours. I was at the hospital with my first 30 minutes different than my mom 3:00 AM. I would recommend having the base of car seat installed by 34 weeks and hospital bags packed with snacks. Maybe a pillow or blanket that is not white in the trunk. Do not put the car seat on the base until you are officially going to the hospital in labor because if you get in a car accident you have to replace the car seat. Staying home is great even though some days are hard. I am thankful I can stay home with my kiddos, and have fun with them and comfort them! You and Zac will do great!

The previous five women in my family all had emergency c sections so I was also prepared for that. I ended up having a natural birth and a 9+ pound baby. Anything can happen, just go with the flow. The most important thing is getting baby out safely!

I too have insomnia in the 3rd trimester with both kids. I re-painted our entire kitchen at 1:00 one night. Lol. But I when both kids were born , I honestly slept MORE after they were born then before ! Waking up every 3 hours was nothing compared to the insomnia! I always felt like it was natures way of getting me ready .

Since you're forced to sleep upright on your back, yet want to feel cozy do you have a nice thick pillow you can put right under your chin? That might help you feel more cozy in which case you might sleep better. When I sleep on my back if I don't have a pillow under my chin or even covering a bit of my face I can't sleep at all. Just a thought!

They say you don’t full go back to normal (physically and mentally) after giving birth for a least a year. Every new mother should be able to stay home with their kid for at least that first year if they choose. Other countries have figured out how to make that work. 🤷‍♀️

It’s good you didn’t make a job decision before having baby! I found it wayyy harder than I expected to leave my son. I went back to work briefly when he was 1 then quit. He’s 3 now. You have a dream job for many mums because you can work flexibility and don’t have to leave your baby if you don’t want to ❤

I had to be induced at 36 weeks with my son in January (1st child) because of pre-eclampsia so I totally get not wanting to push things off because you just never know what could happen! I left work and went for my normal weekly appointment and 24 hours later, I had a baby! 😂

You don't have to wait for a Dr appointment, just call your Dr's office and tell the nurse you need a prescription for acid reflux. It will go away within one or two days

Don't do zippers or strings (like to tighten a hood)! My Mom scratched my babies face so many times with her zipper, and the strings drop into diapers, baths, sinks. My son is four now, and I still don't buy zippers or strings. 😂 It's been so fun watching you.

My sister was a few days late but c-section. She had a feeling her whole pregnancy she would need emergency c-section her birth plan was no birth plan because you really don’t know what will happen. We are small Canadian town. My sister is my twin we are same age as you but she was married at 19 (2014) 6-months after meeting her husband baby at 21.
