Greetings from New Zealand. At 8.30pm the sun was low enough and we start to lose light as every minute passes.

The oversized flight case was a pain for our 15mins rush on sand, should have got a backpack! It was a lot more walk then we thought! Light wind, beautiful sunset. I got some footage after short flight.

Thanks indiefilms production for your advice. I sent the bird out to Carolina Dronz to get it checked. I did have some better luck the last time out. I was in a different less congested area. I did loose rc connection for about 10 seconds which concerned me being it was on about 400 ft away. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks again!

+zyskman78 Try different places, if the problem problem persists, you may need to send the drone back to factory for a checkout. Approx. 200m wifi range is considered normal under EU frequency.

+zyskman78 check out their user manuals. They have two frequency setups for EU market and US market to comply with different regulations. Unfortunately EU standard is the shorter range.

Hi Borden my name is Steve. I have a blade chroma 4K and did the intelite dbs antenna mod like you. You said with this mod that you were only getting 600ft. I have to say that I am getting the same results. I am disappointed to say the least. I loose video feed and can't get it back until the drone is right in top of me. How is your situation with video feed at this time? Thank you for any info. Cool video by the way.

+zyskman78 Hi Steve, If your unit is the EU zone, then the standards we have is crap. The Intelite DBS antenna does not add much more than 600ft. I loose video feed about 250m-300m. Sometimes even at 200m. I tested it around the city and in open areas, pretty much the same. Very disappointed too. I hope it helps.
