As a Muslim, I find your channel to be an inviting and warm place, and I cannot see how your sharing of a cautionary tale would place Christianity in poor lighting. Your journey is inspiring, and it's nothing short of that.

I agree. I am going through a divorce as a muslim and what I have noticed through this process is that the culture is sadly so much more important within the communities than the rules, love and respect of/from God. I am looked at as if I left my partner for no reason. As if years of mental and physical abuse is not a reason enough for a divorce. All that is said is to stay with him for the sake of the children. I ask myself how a child can grow up in an environment like that and still become normal. Divorce is not a sinn. God supports the act of defending yourself and standing up for your dignity, so you do what you have to do Michel, because you want to only satisfy God and no one else. There is no need for apologising for people who are not worthy of it. We love you. Greetings from Germany.

I've said it before and I'll say it again from a non-christian point of view: you are one of the best representatives for Christians I've come across. The way you handle everything with grace without compromising yourself, your life and your needs is inspiring and the world would be a better place if more religious people would embrace the accepting love and tolerance that their religions speak of.. Oh well, easy for me to say as an outsider 😉😘

I don't know how to put it into words, but I just want to say thank you. Thank you for standing up against hatefulness and bigotry that people try to parade around as the word of God. What I love about your channel is that you are authentic, you are loving and genuine, and as a non Christian, I have never once felt unwelcome in your community. When you share your moments about your faith, I enjoy hearing your passion, but also that you practice what you follow, in the sense of being open, loving, accepting and forgiving. Your heart is what makes your channel a warm and welcoming space, so thank you for that.

I’m Catholic, and I had a child out of wedlock when I was 19. I experienced the shame and hurt of feeling excluded from God’s love by others in the church who shunned me and judged me. I truly believe the same as you, Jesus loves ALL of his children, NO MATTER WHAT. No matter who you are or what has happened to you, what mistakes you’ve made; He loves us all. I love you, Michel, despite all of your flaws, just as Jesus does. We all make mistakes, we need to give each other grace and understanding and love.

He already died for all of the sins of the world and we will NEVER be perfect.” I love your channel and your views as a Christian. I view it like this also. Michel, I found your channel about 4 weeks ago when your video explaining your divorce situation popped up. I am almost three years out from my official divorce date. This was after 28 years of marriage. There was cheating involved but most of all, I felt worthless for most of these years. There is way more to my situation but I am so incredibly blessed with a terrific support group. Hearing your realizations and discoveries as you get to know yourself in this new season, has been comforting. I too have done a whole lot of growing and while I still struggle with intense grief, I am in a better place. Wishing you continued healing and discoveries. Thanks for sharing things from your perspective.

It became such a burden to cook for one and ending up with endless meals of the same thing because of the difficulty of minimizing ingredients. I enjoy that Tovala is an easy, healthy way to keep me eating properly without too much effort, and no wasted food going into the trash bin. On another subject, you voicing your love of your Christianity has not turned me off your vlogs, even though I don't have a belief in any religions. I just want you to know that sharing your genuine heart and love for others is what brings me back to your channel. I’ve been feeling “meh” with KZbin in general and am finding most content a little boring and forced. I think your content is very honest and loving and your growth and self-love is evident in every video. I feel like your sponsors are really products you like and use so that doesn’t feel forced and you are great at creating videos for the ad to fit in your video without “taking an ad break.” I have found myself clicking off of other videos that show the same thing over and over with the same ads. You genuinely let us into your life like actual friends. I’m a Christian and feel like you do an amazing job at creating a kind space for us to join you in your life if even just a little bit. Your representation of of the love of Jesus is evident even when you say nothing about Christianity. Keep bringing the joy!

My husband is divorced and I was in a long term not God honouring relationship where I was weeks from walking down the isle. And we have both felt Gods restorative hand in our life and abundant forgiveness. I can honestly say God has grace bigger than we can imagine when it comes to our human mistakes. I’ll always remember the scripture in John 8 where the woman was literally caught in idolatry and Jesus still showed her grace. I pray to be like Him more and that Christians would love just the same. We’re all imperfect trying to do our best. Thanks for sharing your story, as someone who has journeyed a similar path I can testify to God’s restoration and goodness when you lay it at his feet. Keep doing what you’re doing x
