Your quote really spoke to why I love watching your videos. Seeing the thoughtfulness and grace which goes into tending to our daily lives. I really appreciate you sharing what your reading/listening to lately - hearing the things that spark your interests resonates and reminds me to be more intentional and curious about my own life.

ahh i watch and love every video of yours but this one especially. that excerpt from atmos was just what i needed to hear today. i'll need to look into buying the book myself! also i know you've been talking recently about struggling to fall in love with your space, but i gotta say the lil bits and parts of your home featured in this video were lovely and beautiful - maybe just something about the angles you chose, but i enjoyed :)

This is a very beautiful video. I just turned 30 almost 2 weeks ago. I have been feeling 30 only because everyone is telling me "Yay, you're 30", but not feeling prepared for it. After hearing you read the text, its helping me think a little more what I want to open myself up to in the decade itself rather than the year of being 30. Thank you, Sarah.

No ones is ever 30, or 35, or 40,60,80. Everyone is always in their twenties:) that’s what I came to realize after crossing that bridge and talking to every other people older than me. One just realizes times passes and it’s magical and we should enjoy our God’s given time on earth, but inside...everyone is always 20 something 😂

if you enjoy Jared K. Anderson's writing, you absolutely have to check out The Overstory by Richard Powers. It is all the same magic. It gave me chills sometimes, that's how beautifully and profoundly he writes about trees and people and the human condition. Btw thanks for this amazing content, so hard to find! Your vlogs have given me chills too!

While you were talking about the article in Atmos it made me want to recommend another book to you. The book is called how to do nothing: resisting the attention economy by Jenny Odell. It’s actually not about doing nothing at all, but rather how to pay attention to what we’re doing and our environment. She’s an artist, writer, and sociologist and the book speaks to some of the same notes that the article In atmos did surrounding our attention and intentions. It’s a wonderful read. If you pick it up I hope you enjoy!
