My Mom and I were talking last night about how so many things I've gotten, I claim to be coffeebreakwithdani approved...which carries such weight in our home, because... seriously... You've never steered us wrong. I've signed up for thrive market, butcherbox, shopped at The Good Candle, Glisten and Glow top coat, (I could go on and on), and most recently, I was intrigued enough by your brief but glowing recommendation of the book, Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski. I instantly downloaded it on kindle, and couldn't stop reading it! At times, the weight of what I was processing caused me to slow it down, but let me tell you, that book changed my life, because it helped me heal from past trauma... My heart is brimming with thanks for you for all of your thoughtful recommendations over the years...you've mentioned that you're into self help books (I'm so passionate about that as well) and hope you keep the book recommendations coming! 💖🐼

@@angelsiren319 oh man!! books *absolutely* visit us and ask us to pick them up at the right time. I am packing up my house rn to move to a different house two blocks away. It’s overwhelming as can be, knowing i only have until the 22nd. Bc it’s just my daughter and me. But anyway, two books somehow surfaced for me to read during breaks and before bed. One was on top of a stack but i had paid it no mind. Until it stood out to me one day. And it’s just what i need right now. And i’ve gotta say that the fact that Dani has posted during this time…she used to be the best part of waking up on the weekend and her positive energy being back is super important to me!! Someone is definitely watching out for me and making sure that i’m reading the signs. Life is hard but energy doesn’t lie and if you fall into it and let it all guide you rather than resisting, things become infinitely easier

@@BareBohemianBeauty I can totally relate to your situation. It's scary when you have to do all the heavy lifting yourself. I say that both literally and figuratively. I pray that you receive supernatural strength and grace to complete your move on time. I moved my Mom and grandmother from NY to PA with very little help. God was definitely looking out for us, that's for sure... Yeah, books have this uncanny way of making themselves "known" to us when we need them to be. I say that everything happens for a reason, maybe unknown to us at the time, but as Dani says, and I agree with her, we just trust in His plan... Chatting with you has been such a treat. The gift of struggle has been the best lesson I ever learned! Lived in my sisters and brother in laws house and knew no Spanish, learned super quick with all their help. My daughter now at 9 even now knows tons of spanish so she can help her classmates and they can help her learn more too.. love the joy of helping, and learning :)

Amika has an aerosol shine spray that’s super light weight called Top Gloss. I love using it on my clients when I’m done I’ll just spray a little on their ends and it looks beautiful

Try Amika The Wizard detangling spray and primer. It’s the one with the orange packaging that has a black spray nozzle. I have baby fine hair like you. It’s a heat protector too. A little goes a long way. Spray a little in your hand and work it through your hair. It makes your hair shine

I’ve been using that creamy concealer from Tarte for the last few years. And I use it as a foundation. I don’t have to use as much and it looks better than an actual foundation for me😊

if you’re going back into Ulta, check out the Aquage Shine Spray!! 5:29 It’s a strong smell but doesn’t last super long after the initial spraying dissipates. It’s also a heat protectant if you’re going to blow dry, or esp flat iron. • The shine is just incredible no matter how you use it!! I am someone who loves the smell. Their entire line is yum. The shine spray is really for all hair types bc i don’t feel like you can overdo it. ..My mom has a bit more hair but it’s still super fine and it’s wavy like yours. Product can build up quickly on her hair bc it’s so fine but this spray has never been an issue
