i feel you so much on the skin picking. i’ve literally been picking at the skin on my fingers since i was little and still continue to do it without even realizing it until i look at my fingers and they’re bleeding. the best thing i’ve done for it is get acrylics on my nails that make it harder to pick at the skin. also, keeping your hands busy like holding something and training your brain to focus on something else!! it’s nothing to be embarrassed about everyone has their own ways of coping ❤️

It was hard at first since they were on completely different schedules, but I also felt like I was able to spend a lot of one on one time with my older son because of how often his baby brother slept. They’re now 2 and 1 and they play soooo well together and are inseparable. It’s the sweetest thing to see your kids be best friends ❤️

Girl please don't ever feel bad about having a disorder. Technically everyone on the planet has at least one disorder, diagnosed or not. I have a few and I've been hospitalized for it twice. I also have struggled with picking the skin on fingers around my nails for as long as i can remember. No one seems to understand how much of a mental battle it really is. I appreciate you for speaking about your experience with it and for reminding me that I am not alone in this! i find that even press on nails help because I physically cannot pick the skin with them on and it allows then to heal. I’m not sure if it’s anything we can ever just get over or be cured of, so all we can do is try our best😊

I have the same exact habit Sarai! I’ve picked my cuticles since I was 7 years old and it is also definitely a nervous tick. When I go to the nail salon, I usually tell them I just got cut somehow, because they always mention it. It has been so bad that the entire back of my finger has been shredded raw. I completely understand, and I know how frustrating it is to try to break the habit. Just know you are not alone, and I seriously struggle with the exact same thing on a day-to-day basis. I had 2 under 2 and it was beautiful. I loved it soo much. Seeing my oldest love and care for the baby was soo sweet. Then I had 3 under 3. It’s been so sweet watching them and how they are with each other. The bond is magical. And yes I get the “oh you have your hands full” all the time. But i always reply with “yes, and it’s such a blessing” or “yes and we have so much fun!” because I never want my children to feel like they’re too much for me to handle. They are very well behaved kids but they’re obviously going to laugh loud and giggle loud at the store or when I take them out. Just having grace and patience is key. Keeping in mind that if u really think about it whatever they’re doing isn’t actually bad. It’s just annoying to others. And that’s not a good enough reason for you to shush up your littles as they giggle loudly in a public setting. It’s possible. It’s beautiful. But time flies. So make sure to treasure the little things. Know it’s possible to go out to a restaurant with all your babies. Teach them table manners etc. know you Can go shopping or to outings. And yes ALONE, just you and your babies🤍 my kids are still 3 and under and I’ve got a long ways to go but I’m loving it so far and really hoping to have a bunch more babies in the future 😅🤍🤍🤍 blessings to you and your family girl🥰

Hi Sarai, Jalen and Crew! I love your vlogs! I love that you started talking about skin picking. I have struggled my whole life with it. I have permanent scars on my face and arms from picking. It doesn't help that I'm very accident prone and I'm always hitting my arms and legs and then I pick at them riiiiight as the scab is about to fall off. (sorry if this is TMI) I'm 33 now and I think I've gotten a hold on not picking. I'm so proud of myself because I've never grown my nails out because I pick but since November 2023, I have successfully grown my nails out and haven't picked at my skin. I've also started taking care of my diet and my skin care. As always love you for being you. Remember growth takes time and is hard but you got this girl! love y'all !

Don't ever feel weird. When I was younger I used to pick the skin behind my nails. But that escalated to picking the skin off of my lips. It's not easy to break. It becomes a habit and a comfort and control in a way. Keeping my hands occupied has helped. And honestly, I've been in therapy for a few things for a long time, but recently for the picking and people who specialize in it have so many tools and options to help. It's a journey and you are not alone in it.

I highly recommend pelvic floor therapy! I don’t have kids but I dealt with so much pain similar to yours and other issues relating to down there. It’s so nice having that option to see someone for those issues. Never feel ashamed or embarrassed, I know it’s easy said then done but they have specialists for a reason! The pelvic floor women that I saw helped relieve my issues and I learned so much more about the body and ways to help prevent issues to get worse again. I hope you are able to find amazing people to help you! I love your videos and seeing you as a mom💙

My sister and I are 14 months apart, she is my everything my forever best friend. I don’t know life without her cause I honestly can’t remember a time before her. Our teenage years were tough ngl and those younger childhood arguments were rough too but at the end of the day we could never stay mad each other. Now, I am not a mother myself so I can not speak to what it truly takes first hand to even raise one child, but I wanted to share my point of view as someone who grew up with a sibling close in age. Those TikTok’s make me cry cause that’s really how it was!

Two under two is TOUGH. I will say though now that my daughter is 3 and my son is almost one NOW is when I would say IF I had to wait I would wait until NOW. It’s great at this stage, but my daughter was so hands on which was sweet but also very consuming all at the same time. You will manage and you will conquer, and are capable! My only insight is truly lean into your heart and when it’s the most consistent with the desire! You’re a phenomenal mother and woman! Cheering for you.

I've been struggling too for a while, but I been feeling better for the past 2 years. My oldest is 5, I'll have a 4yo in May and youngest will be 3 this month. We've come along ways. One thing about having babies so close is you don't "baby" the baby as much since there's a new one. That was my case, my daughters are very independent and my son is a mommas boy. I share my heart with them but 3 is alot. It's just from my experience.
