Im happy God put you where you wanted to be because being stressed out on a job is not good. Long story short I resign from a job four years ago and unfortunately i have to go back into the workforce for the last two yrs ive been on my grind. Still unemployed still asking God for that light. 🙏

Thank you for sharing your transistion info from education . I can relate to this on so many levels. I left education early as well not because of the students, but the stress. I went ahead and retired and prayed for the option to still educate but from the comfort of my home and when I wanted to. He came in clutch of course. Congrats to you! Love love your channel. I really appreciate you doing this video because i have been struggling to get out of education for years. No other industries take me seriously and i get nothing when i apply for jobs. Because of this i gave up and went to grad school to become a special education evaluator but now that im doing it, im even more miserable than when i was in the classroom. Like you, i wanted to pursue other interests and hobbies, including youtube, but work drains me so much that i have nothing left to give at the end of the day. My life is just a cycle of work, eat, sleep and repeat. My physical and mental health are in shambles because i feel trapped by the contract they make us sign for the school year. Everyday I want to just quit and dont think i can make it until June, which leads me to my question. Were you under contract when you left? If so, how did you address it? Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your experience because it has inspired me and given me hope in a time when i need it most. May God continue to bless you 🙌

Thank you so much Shawn💕 I appreciate your support. Education felt like a trap for me as well. I felt boxed in and used. I also relate to the feeling of wanting to go back to school. Ultimately I realized that life is for living. In education I was just existing. God does not want that for his children. Greater is waiting. Make up your mind, talk to God, and leave. He will see you through. My advice is to change up some of the verbiage on your resume to suit the job of your dreams. Our skill set is impeccable. We can work anywhere. You just need to learn how to look good on paper. To answer your question, yes I was under contract and I did not care. The Lord blessed me with a 15k raise at my new job and I was like if I have to pay $1500-3000 to get out so be it. However, I worked for a really kind man. We worked together previously. When he hired me to be the lead teacher at his school he knew I was one foot out the door (well out of education). I originally told him I wanted to be his secretary or assistant. He talked me into teaching because it paid more. The thing is Shawn we have to trust that God will provide. You are an educated women and I know you make sound decisions, trust yourself.
