The nail allergy thing is so so real! Exact same thing happened to me and this allergy is on the rise because of our increased exposure to acrylates. Be really vigilant and keep an eye on your nails now that you’ve gotten them done again because I did the same thing once mine grew out and it happened again! It’s so horrible when you’ve spent 6 months growing them out

Love your videos! ✨ & Nail tech here! 👋🏻 I’m so sorry to hear about your allergic reaction. Was it TGB / a white bottle biab by any chance? As you said from your own research it’s showing up more & more in the industry. You might find it’s more to do with the unsafe levels of certain ingredients in the polish more than the application process. If you can, get an allergy test! As allergies to acrylates for example are also used in medical & dental work 💗
