Hi! Do you have wear notes for the Tir Tir cushion foundation? Did I overlook them?
@rosieg60932 ай бұрын
Not sure you will see this, but Robert Welch a UK makeup artist and You Tuber did a video on the TirTir cushion foundation a while back and how people were using it incorrectly, he demonstrated how little you need to get perfect coverage and how to use the sponge. He also recently did a video on all three of the Tir Tir cushion foundation finishes, red, silver and white compacts.

Robert is the best! That video was really informative.

Not sure if someone has said this yet but a possible culprit of your green tea being too astringent is the brew method. Make sure you’re not brewing green tea with water over about 170F (I prefer 140F for green teas). It will prevent the tannins from dissolving that give you that pucker mouth feel!! Add honey and/or lemon to green tea, but not milk!

Oh and also steep it for only 3 mins ❤

Any recommendations.

I just bought Chloé Lumineuse as my autumn scent! It’s a very sophisticated vanilla and lightly floral scent, highly recommend. Also received Burberry Goddess as a gift and am loving it, but I think I’m going to keep it as my winter fragrance bc it’s a little warmer.

My favorite is green tea with honey and lemon juice - I think the lemon juice helps to brighten up the flavor and just pairs really well with the flavor and that "texture" you're describing that green tea can have!

The grocery store loop is real!!!! One of the must frustrating things ever. I started limiting myself where I’m only allowed to go to the store once a week! I don’t always stick with it but I try to remember that if we run out of something in the middle of the week there are always alternatives and not everything is an emergency. Sometimes you just need to go, but sometimes I try my hardest to just be patient and make it work!

Pro cold brew tip: let it steep on counter for 16 hrs and it makes a concentrate. You just delude it at a 1:1 ratio with filtered water. Makes it stretch sooo much further and taste so rich, smooth and delicious. Also, “Stumptown Coffee Roasters” with their “Homestead” named beans as a cold brew NEVER fails me. Even their decaf is amazing. *chefs kiss*

I make cold brew in my French press! It is super easy. I put one cup of ground coffee to 4 cups of COLD water, then let it sit either on the counter or fridge for 12-24 hours. I pour it through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, clean out all the grounds from the French press, then pour the coffee back in the carafe to store. I don’t care for the flavor if it’s left in the grounds to steep for too long. Lately I’ve been loving the Starbucks cinnamon brown sugar flavored coffee cold brewed. It’s delicious 🤤

Ok as a British American I have some tea tips that I hope help!! First off, half and half basically doesn’t exist outside of America. In the UK we add milk to black teas mostly, some also add it to rooibos and some herbal teas like chamomile. In the US you can get the British tea brands PG Tips and Yorkshire Gold pretty easily, highly recommend trying them with milk although you can totally add half and half if you want :) it’s also nice in earl grey. I also get the dry mouth feeling with green tea, I think because it’s super high in tannins. Highly recommend trying black English breakfast tea!! I used to get home from school in California and make myself a cuppa ❤
@88kayleigh2 ай бұрын
I commented elsewhere, but agree with all your tips - I’ve got a lot of British family so the tea tips got passed down 😅 one thing i recommended to Jessica was to try steeping green tea a lot less than you typically would black teas - I only leave the tea bag in 1-2 minutes. Otherwise that bitterness develops!
