When I got a divorce several years ago, I signed everything in my lawyer's office, and I think he did the same at his lawyer's office because there was abuse involved. The state did not want abuse victims to come face to face at any time in the proceedings, so they protected me from that potentially dangerous situation. I was VERY grateful!

Ugh, Michel. You are a new channel for me. Your video on your divorce is the first one I viewed, and I immediately subscribed. You and I have a similar story. When I was 24, I found myself getting a divorce. We had to do everything online as well. I agree, it felt so odd. I was like I wanna party, but this doesn’t feel real. Sorry you had to go through this! For me it's really stunning. In Germany people dont even marry until around 33 on average. If they do it at all.. It seems to be completely different world in the US? Is it common for people to get married so young?

Dang, I got divorced around your age and we had to go to court in front of a judge. I had a great lawyer and I'm the one that filed (what seems to be similar reasons of your divorce) but watching how a divorce could be over zoom or just digital signing is mind blowing. A bit off topic but I was watching your Insta story today and loved your music and it reminded me of something. When I was going through a horrible breakup I created a playlist called “picked myself back up” - over the next year or so I added songs that had meant something to me during that time period. Now I listen back and remember the journey and all the music in which I found comfort, strength, confidence and eventually love. I am so happy for you! When I got divorced we went to Court. I paid for everything because he refused to even get divorced & I did everything but bring him to the court.
