Even after more than 25 years (back in '93), I still miss my TZR125. 2 Stroke is raw power but need higher RPM. YPVS can be tune to adjust the kick-in. Mine kicks in abt 80Km. Instantly, you can feel it will accelerate to 100km. (it top at about 160km - red line) TZR need high speed to up keep the performance. And it's quiet as compare to similar 2 stocks bike tat that time. Now have to go slow n steady. 😅

This bike is really cool,and love it so much...use to own this bike yrs back around 1990s. Cost for brand new is abt 10k plus if I'm no wrong. And mode it into single seat is awesome.

Wow!!!during my time we used to call it TZ bontot!!!classic siak this bike...last production 1995...I passed my 2B in 1995!!there's another version with the twin exhaust pipes...

Bontot or TZR 250 Combat. Haha. The other version with two exhaust pipes at the sides I think we used to call it tzr popiah?😁
@muhammadrazinbinmuhammadmu12802 жыл бұрын
@@johntora1 can't recall the nickname for the twin exhaust...but yes you're right...tzr combat is another name for it because if you stop behind the bike...you kena shoot by the twin guns below the seat...hahahah..

Wow.. Can't imagine this bike still around. Use to own 1 in the past but don't really like the handling as compare to my PGM 4 so sold it away. Prefer your PGM 3 NSR 250.

2 stroke bikes cannot sayang sayang. if you sayang sayang it will broke easily. just whack the rpm 7-11rpm. that is when the powervalve is working and the bike makes power. under that rpm it only produces power equal to a 125cc. also need to whack it 7rpm and above once in a while otherwise the powervalve will have problem
@mohdriwafiq4362 жыл бұрын
For kr also same?
@nazrlol81022 жыл бұрын
yup. you need to whack and ultilize the powervalve once in a while from time to time otherwise the powervalve will get stuck BUT if you whack too much then wear and tear will happen. the engineers designed and created the powervalve for a reason so use it.
@nazrlol81022 жыл бұрын
@@mohdriwafiq436 but first make sure your carburator fuel and air mixture ratio setting is okay before whacking the bike. fuel and air ratio on a 2 stroke is crucial. too lean and the piston will heat up and jammed. too rich causes no power and will bogged the engine down. find the perfect tuning between the two and i can guarantee you that your bike will last long. just a 2 cents from your malaysian neighbour :)

1KT and 2MA share the same engine type,parallel twin and look the same. 3MA is the reverse cylinder parallel twin engine..The 3XV is a V Twin.

Cool bike. Looks strange with a car license plate. Motorcycle plates from California are much smaller.

Haha. Actually. That's a fake plate. It's used to cover the actual Singapore registered license plate
