Damn Gatsby! Looking on fleek! I hadn’t realized (visually) how much weight Gatsby really lost until Ryen did a direct comparison! So glad that he feels so much better and is back to being his former puppy self! Hopefully the whole computer situation can be resolved as soon as possible! Wow, the corals in the aquarium look really good! Especially that bubble coral in the centre! The May photo in the calendar is my favourite! Love Ryen’s expression in it haha! Love the analogy Ryen gives with comparing the movement of the arm muscles with the legs, I never thought of it that way! All the foods in the video looks so GOOD! From the cake, tacos, the Hawaiian shave ice, as well as the hotpot! Speaking of eating, I actually just started my Invisalign journey this past Tuesday! Thanks to Ryen sharing his experience with us, I can know what to expect, and I definitely can agree with the point that having to brush your teeth every meal can get pretty tedious haha! I personally don’t think Ryen looks like Paolo too much, I’d say Johnny Walker (UFC fighter) from a few vlogs ago was more similar. I sometimes forget how awesome and a great time I have watching Ryen’s vlog, especially after an exhausting week. Just makes me appreciate it so so much more! Can’t wait to see what Ryen and Gatsby will be up to in next week’s vlog!

Thank you for the tips. I just adopted a corgi and he needs to get in shape. He was being fed food scraps as well as cheese sticks and gold fish for treats by the previous owners. He is a sweet dog and I want him to live happily and healthy for a long time. I hope Gatsby is doing well. He is so loved by you and it shows. Thank you!!!

👍Wow seven pounds lost, great job! Thanks for posting. We’ve been trying to help joint pain in our border collie/lab mix. We make her bone broth & she can walk now but we will reduce her raw food & cooked food. We started the raw food back when you talked about it. Love the happy dance. Plus, I must mention, leg day makes my legs feel better since I ripped a muscle & just watching even helped the pains.

Gatsby looks so good! The vet told me tonight that I have to cut one of my corgis food portion by 25%. She already has 20g less per meal than her sister, but weighs about 3kg more. Seeing Gatsby has made me hopeful that cutting her food down by 25% will produce results.

Glad you’re talking about this! As for beef liver, it’s a great treat but also high calorie. You also want to be careful of giving too many liver treats as that is very high in certain things like Vitamin A which you could potentially cause a toxicity with if eaten in high quantities. For food, if your dog is not into the reduced quantity (the 25%), make up the lost volume in cucumber, zucchini, or green beans if they like them to really bulk out their meal. This helps them feel more full and it’s a great healthy additive for fiber

I commend you for changing his diet so he can be a lean, mean, Corgi. He looks great. Corgis are very food oriented, as all Corgi owners know. Very easy to train with food rewards. But.....it is so easy for us humans to over do the treats because they love them so much. I've been following you both from the start and noticed he was getting chubby but didn't say anything so I'm really happy you figured it out and did what was required to get him back into good shape. After all, you keep yourself in pretty good shape, right? May you have many more years with your dear Gatsby. Corgis are the best dogs ever.

My corgi crouton became overweight too. She damaged something in her shoulder and she had to be put on a diet. It was winter so my usual tricks of getting her to a local ricer or creek to swim wasn't going to work. So, a reduction in food and treats happened and now she's a healthy weight.

i suggest getting a NAS like synology, qnap, or external drives that can be setup as NAS. this will save you time, money, and headaches. these can also act as backups (temporarily). dump the hard drive and install and SSD. if your imac is a fusion, then dump the fusion setup and go with a single SSD imac with a NAS. there are plenty of ways to store your videos. check out linus tech tips.

Ooh congrats Gatsby on losing the weight! 😎 👏 I’ve been using Dr. Marty’s for a year now and noticed a big difference with my corgs too. That stuff isn’t cheap but you definitely pay for the quality and they love the taste. They get that, Stella & Chewys freeze dried patties and nuggets, N&D kibble, OrgaNOMics wet food, and ground sweet potato in various combos during the day and they’ve kept a really good weight. Then with Nzymes granules and BakPak Plus once a day to keep their gut healthy, I’ve got a couple of sleek tater tots. You can never heap enough care and love on your fur babies!

Gatsby's shape is spot on, Ryen. I was reading about Shiba inus (sorta look like Corgis). Anyway, it's hard to tell their weight as they have a lot of floof. But the article said to look at the Shiba from behind, over the top of the dog. There should be a "defined" waist indentation, in back of the ribs. If you cannot see the waist, then the dog might be overweight. Needless to say, that no longer applies to Gatsby - he's such a good boi for keeping up with his new diet. And kudos to you as well, Ryen!
