I'm just thinking how everything seems to mark the end somehow. I know this wasn't meant seriously, but every change marks more end of the site predictions, whether by users like me going they're destroying the site by messing up the notification (though I don't think I've been like it's ending because of that) or creators freaking out that the changes for advertisers will kill the ones relying on KZbin for income while being controversial. Not to mention the reactions to Heroes or any "censorship" ever (even removing actual promotions of hate or blocking trolls).

Oh boy this is interesting, a video 12 years old, proclaiming the death of KZbin, about 4 years after launch. With a comment 6 years old, saying they predicted it 6 years ago, and it has only gotten worse. And yes, they did mess with the notifications, to the point that it means nothing unless you have "the bell on", and censorship only grew, to the point where KZbin secretly have unsubscribed people from channels like China Uncensored, and you have to be on patreon to be safe from, "The Dreaded KZbin Algorithm" Somebody should do a documentary on KZbin and what it have gone though

It's amazing to look back and see the way KZbin has evolved over the years. Both from a UI standpoint and as a platform for creators. I'd forgotten that channels used to have backgrounds and were so much more customisable. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you what the previous incarnation of KZbin looked like now.

It is 4:29 p.m. on November 19th, 2023. This is the Watching History of Vlogbrothers. Here my general thoughts so far: This is one of my favorite songs of Hank's. It has great lyrics, the guitar-playing is awesome, and the message is still relevant, and in many, many contexts. Again, I wonder what the effects of the redesign were, and additionally I wonder what Hank now would think of this.

@maxmanrules I agree with you about that man. There is new in-video ads that has the option to close/skip the ad instead of it being forced onto you. With my connection being sub-par I was having a lot of problems with these ads so I did get the adblock plus ad on and will never go back. I love it, I was on youtube back when it was first starting on my old account, before any ads or anything and just miss the old days. I agree about avoiding products for ad reasons, no toyota's for me lol.
