is that a regional thing? here in southern germany for as far as i know a lot of the local mechanics are part of clubs and are homies. Been working on the side for a friend of my dad whos also the owner of an all-car repair shop for 20 years and hes a really honest, nice and fair man

Now they're 50 years old hate going to work everyday and they take it out on coworkers/customers, they're the guys making up repairs, hacking up cars, and telling young mechanics to leave the field because it's terrible.

Seems extremely fake, I’m thinking they just put the engine in the frunk but didn’t actually hook it up to the drivetrain. The fuel system is definitely not hooked up, the fill up scene was faked. You can tell with all the cuts and then showing the fill up handle not actually depressed.
