I love watching these kinds of things because I'm not actively learning German so I now have a fairly large vocabulary (thanks to these and Rammstein songs in general) and zero ability to communicate in sentences and I find that incredibly funny. I can understand a lot of German poetry but I can't ask where the bathroom is.

Thanks for watching! Here's a little RAMMSTEIN CHALLENGE for you guys: Can you name your favorite Rammstein song for each letter? For instance: A - Amour B - Benzin etc.? :) - Dave

Very surprised by how many of these I already knew! Pretty cool to confirm that too! I love the videos you put out because it helps me to understand more about the band that intrigued me as a teen the very moment I heard "du hast" play on a American music channel called MTV.

Hi Dave, thanks for the informative and entertaining video! I would like to share with you my discovery about this Helloman term. Turns out the actual meaning is 'kidnapper' and I must say it made me rethink this song and the scene it portraying. (Drop like if you didn't know :)) upd: I've just checked and actually it was YOU, who explained this term. :)

Eine kleine Anmerkung: 5/4 bezieht sich ja auf die Taktart, und die wird im Englischen "Five over four" ausgesprochen.

Hallo, First I must confess that I'm not familiar with this album "Herzeleid". Asche zu Asche, caught my attention perhaps because I'm in a blue/sad mood. I've recently lost a friend and it brought to mind part of the committal service, earth to earth, ashes to ashes, you are dust and to dust you shall return...enough of this mood. This video in toto has lifted my spirits, I really enjoyed it. Vielen dank. John W.

When you said "Immer das Alte Lied".. I remembered of Die Toten Hosen's Altes Fieber.. in the chors it says "und immer wieder, sind es dieselben Lieder".. maybe it's a reference to that

Please can you tell me if this song is Rammstein? I'm like 99% sure it is. I don't speak German. It sounds like they're saying " Gate Fadar Haus" or Gate Lauder Haus Another line in the song sounds like " Sync Vader rize. If this sounds crazy I apologize. Just thought you may be able to help me find this song Thank you WendyHumphrey

Bück Dich. Du Hast, Engel, Feuer Frei, Hai Fisch, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Keine Lust, Radio are my favorites. I like this video but now it has me curious about other song title translations. For example Stahlmann, Nichts Spricht Wahre Liebe Frei. Am I wrong to say that translates to Nothing Speaks True Love Free? My German is not good enough to know exactly what it really means.
