This came out in the 1980's by Randy Travis. I love how he used all new ways to explain how true his love is by old country sayings. Tim's voice was just made for this. The way the rest of the crew back him up just makes this song a hit all over again. I love it! You can find out how the group got to how they are now by watching the history of Home Free form their own mouths.

Greg, now that you're officially a Home Fry, it's time for you to be introduced to the crazy side of Home Free. Please watch "The Butts Medley" sometime soon, and be prepared to possibly wet yourself with laughter. Also, in that video you will see Adam Rupp's (the human percussion machine) brother Chris, one of the founders of the group (wearing a cowboy hat), who left a few years ago to pursue a solo career; he was replaced by Adam Chance (goes by Chance to avoid confusion with the other Adam), who's the one wearing his hat backwards in this video. Have fun!!

This comment is a little late, but I have to say it: did you really say "a silly ONE."? One? Oh, no not one. Those guys are the most talented goofs you will ever find! That combination of silliness and talent is a miracle.

I think these guys did a great cover of Randy Travis' song especially with Tim taking the lead. What I love about Home Free is how respectful they are of the original song without adding unnecessary things. No theatrics or bass drops. Just beautiful singing & harmonies with Adam adding his special touch. I thought it was cute when Tim sung about hair turning grey & he looked up at his own hair.

These guys sound incredible. Somehow, Randy Travis made the listener believe he was actually putting his heart on his sleeve for all to hear & see. If you enjoyed this old country song, check out Randy Travis singing "Deeper Than the Holler", "Diggin' Up Bones", "I Told You So", "Better Class of Losers" & "On the Other Hand". His songs are another rabbit hole it is easy to lose yourself inside.

It's funny because Tim for years had those long dark locks.... He colored his grey streak for years....then Covid hit so he didn't go to the salon and just cut it shirt and let the grey grown in. I'm actually living the grey fox he's become.

You mentioned Tim being comedic... They ALL are comedic, in each of their own ways! Butts Remix, All About That Bass, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, Workin' For A Livin', Sea Shanty Medley, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Folsom Prison Blues (subtle--the height charts), I Swear, and many others. Sometimes the humor is subtle, like Tim & his gray hair, and some of it is funny throughout, but the vocals never ever suffer. These guys need constant adult supervision! LOL! (And they never use humor inappropriately.)

The beatboxer, Adam Rupp and his brother Chris started the band in 2000 or 2001 with a few others who didn't stay on very long. One of the originals was a college friend named Matt Atwood. They named the group after Matt's grandfather's boat because he'd help them out financially. Chris was still with them when they found Austin (ginger beard) as part of the entertainment crew when they came on as guest entertainers around 2012. He express interest in joining the group and they contacted him a bit later when Matt retired to raise a family. They won the sing off in 2013 when he'd been with them about a year. Chris left the group for other directions in early 2016; that's when Chance (backward baseball cap) joined them. You will find videos with Chris.
