Your home is beyond stunning yet it isn’t artificially staged like a show home. It is exactly how a family home should be. Your vlog is the only one where I feel like I am visiting a friend. Your vlogs are such a welcome distraction from work at the moment. I’m a junior doctor working in a tier 3 area and our COVID numbers are going up and with winter pressures, healthcare workers are all feeling stretched. COVID also meant we don’t get to have as much decorations for the wards due to infection control. Not so festive this year unfortunately. Seeing this vlog pop up right before I start getting ready for night shift is godsend! Thank you for continuing to do this and sharing your life with us. 💕

Hello from Iowa USA..I am 67 yr old widow and I work in a nursing home....It breaks my heart seeing our residents crying just wanting to see their families & especially the grand& great grand children.....we are in complete lock down because of 14 residents positive gor Covid....

I wish I could be such an encouraging and bubbly mum like you one day...but I have anxiety so just thinking about that makes me worried already :( I grew up in an asian family and my parents weren’t used to showing much emotion growing up (sometimes I think this attributes to my anxiety and low self-esteem). Grew up in an Asian family with emotional disconnect too. I live away from them now and have my own family and we are completely different. You are more emotionally capable because you acknowledge the emotional disparity exists. Your future children will be lucky to have you!

This touched me. You will amazing Eleanor! Trust me ❤️. My grandma was very detached from my mother and didn’t show emotions, she didn’t share much with my mother either. However my mum is completely different than her own mother! She’s always so open, even talks about everything with me and my sibling. You will be so wonderful because you will want to build a bond with your children, due to your own experiences. Have faith darling, the fact that you care so much already about this, shows what a beautiful soul you are. 🥰🌹

Thank you to all the incredible NHS staff for their ongoing work. Although it’s sad to not see family at Xmas, it feels like the right thing to do to keep our NHS from being overwhelmed and also not put family at risk. 5:05 Do your cats typically join you on your walks? That's adorable. On another note, I'm sorry about the lockdown. I wish the UK government had made the decision earlier; I think that would have been less sad for people. My own provincial government in Canada announced that Christmas was locked down (no contact outside your household) back in early December, so we've had weeks to get over the disappointment.

Based in Oxfordshire. 3 hours ago we found out that we'll be in Tier 4 from Boxing Day. I live with my parents and we had no plans for Christmas so I'm grateful for that, but my god what a balls up it's been. I feel so bad for anyone living alone, for everyone working in the NHS and for small business owners who have had no support. 2020 sucks.

The Christmas Chronicles was surprisingly good. Also love Klaus on Netflix. I know things haven’t been going to plan, but we really have to look at our blessings. Critical care nurse here, I live and work in the south east, in tier 4. It has been a rough christmas, I got signed off work sick with stress and burn out! It has been such a awful year and I feel so let down by the government, tier 4 ( lockdown) should have started happening when numbers were rising. My Hospital has had awfully high numbers, peaking the first lockdown wave and we are on week 6 with numbers of patients greater than the first wave. I just watched all of your this year's vlogmas videos in one seating, finishing at 1:35 AM. Yours are the ones I ALWAYS look the most forward to watch and during all the Christmas madness I wasn't able to enjoy it in a peaceful way, so I got to it from 2 to 3 days after our Christmas Day (we celebrate the main event with presents and all the festive food (we do dinner) on the 24th) and I'm glad I found time for it. The vlogmas was awesome as always and I hope that you enjoyed nice Christmas despite all the crappy things and decisions that have been made. Trying not to think about not having my mum and dad over (they are 81yrs & 92yrs old) and them being on their own this year. We’re doing a book advent calendar for our two year old daughter this year, and Santa Post was her book from yesterday. Such a good book. Praying for the UK and the world as we all deal with the pandemic. May you have a Merry Christmas even if it’s not what you imagined.
