Fancy pile o’ stockings!! 🎉. And you’ve introduced me to a new thing to stress over: thread chicken!! 😂😂

5 years ago my sister bought 3 balls of Juniper Moon Alpaca to make a cowl she saw another woman knitting. She loved the aesthetics of the yarn, needles, pattern, and the classy woman moving the yarn. And she decided to join me in my knitting passion. Flash to today, we met for a Christmas lunch and she surrendered her yarn to me (despite my attempts to help, she grew more and more frustrated with the skill). Later tonight when I opened the yarn bag, the pattern that popped out was your GAP-tastic Cowl. I had just told her about my new favorite Vlogmas this year Jen Geigley Knits. 💥! This world can be so small. And yes, you do need all of those stockings, you Geigleys have been very good, and Santa’s been packing his bag according.

I love the stockings. And I was laughing as I watched you realize you had made too many! I also love your sweater you are knitting for Iceland. You are going to love Iceland. I’ve been there once, and the landscape is like nothing you have ever seen. Waterfalls, glaciers, mountains, geysers, etc. I went to the Lopi factory store and went a bit wild buying yarn. I’m still knitting with it more than 10 years later. Definitely bring an empty duffle bag for checked luggage on your way home. It’s usually cheaper to check an extra bag than to ship things home.

Your gratitude for the Grocery Girls sharing your Free half hour hat pattern was heart warming and they are great and so are you. You have really elevated the bulky knit to a stylish gift. Love your ‘90’s fashion, I was raising babies so missed all that, except Osh Kosh overalls and lots of baby sweaters.

Love the stockings!!❤ they look so wonderful and cheery together😊. I also pulled out all my bulky yarns in all the colors and went to town knitting 1/2 hour hats ( mine are closer to 1.5 hours though😂) Thought they would make great gifts, but, I LOVE the way they fit and keep me so cosy AND.... I want all the colors! Hehe...merry Xmas to me😉😝) Thanks for all the holiday inspiration and good cheer! ❄️🧶

Oh this was so fun and the stockings are so beautiful. Remember, no stocking police and more is merrier! And yes, I'm interested in the fair isle cardigan if you decide to write up the pattern (in your spare time, whatever that is!)

I was thinking about your bonus gift socks in basement maybe you could write them a letter what you love about them and what they accomplished this yr and write a love note to your hubby and have him write you one no one gets to see them till Christmas eve or Christmas day and have their fav treat to have while they read their notes. Just was thinking of a new tradition for the old socks.

For me as a German (and some other Europeans, Skandinavians?) it is so funny to watch the way you knit, throwing the thread around the needle while we grab the thread with the right needle...

Ha - true, we all have our own ways/habits! I have a weird way of purling from an old hand injury (and now, I can't stop purling that way.) I did learn the Norwegian knit and purl from Arne and Carlos last year, but still have to practice to get more efficient. I mostly knit continental but switch to english sometimes.

We used to call the stripped shirts from Delia's "Brady Bunch Shirts" 😂 Honestly, any stripped shirt or a polyester button up with a fun pattern was a "Brady Bunch Shirt" back in the 90s

I love this! I had one that I called my Bert and Ernie shirt. I loved those stripes!
