We did prime rib for our Christmas Eve party several years in a row. My husband does a rub with softened butter and montreal steak seasoning. It is so good and almost creates a crust!! We always do 475 for about 45 minutes and then go down to 250 for another hour or so. This gives us a nice pink in the center for those who want it and a little more medium towards the ends for those that don't.

Merry Christmas! Did you have someone look at those scratches? Years ago we had a fire and we had to get outside in the middle of the night. I grabbed my two cats and they scratched my chest because they were scared. I had to go to a clinic and get antibiotics because I was told if the scratches are deep you can develop cat scratch fever (it's actually a thing) which can get serious if infected.

The pope is leading so many astray. As an ex-Catholic and now born again Christian, the path to Jesus is as simple as confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord. Then you are saved. That was a promise made by Jesus. Then following Him after that. The promise Jesus made to us is simple. The Catholic Church and their rituals are complicating salvation. You don’t need the pope. You don’t need his rituals. Or “holy doors” All you need, and all everyone needs is, Jesus Christ. I do not envy the pope and I pray he gets saved and gives his life to Christ before it’s too late.
