Hi Sarah, two things made me worry in terms of ethics: using AI to GENERATE ideas seems problematic. Maybe I’m being too stubborn with this technology. 2) can you use your students material as sources? What’s the methodological Approach there?

Throne of glass is NOT a great example of fantasy writing. I suggest if you want something quick, read one of the Tamora Pierce quartets its YA fantasy so the barrier is low and VERY feminist in their themes.
