Good tip coach. I find myselft not jump putting as much these days because of inconsistency and throw the side arm approach instead. You are correct, quite a bit easier on the body.

I bag a beat in harp in base plastic and a dx alien for straight shots with a hyzer just for this situation where a backhand might be too difficult to get a straight shot.

You're right you can still throw with some height into a jump putt. Some of what I'm trying to reinforce is the idea that you're often exchanging accuracy and energy when you try to throw more precise from farther away with a jump putt. I feel like mechanically you've got a string more things together to be accurate on a jump than it would take for forehand but then again it's just my opinion. :D
