I’m sure many of us your viewers are wishing to live the life you have right now guys. To me your way of life is ideal but we can’t afford it yet. One of the best thing you have aside from freedom is that you don’t have to worry about blackouts and don’t have to worry in paying too much electricity bill therefore you can save some money for your future travel goals. Story and Poppy are both so adorable as always. I always love it when she appreciate things especially her Mom’s cooking. As she said it’s not about the look but the taste that counts❤️

That's all really cool. That's a really great to be able to feel more freedom you teach story very well. She's very smart BUT SHE NEEDS FRIENDS😢 She really does you guys. I mean it's amazing that you are with her 24/7 but to have her be in whole individual. She needs to have other people around her children. You need to think about that also story loves you guys and looks up to you but needs interaction at least one or two days does story not like that school she used to go to She seemed to like to go to that school and be around people her own age is there's something you don't like about that school, ? ❤👋

Hi there love following you and your family, great videos. I live on a small island in Greece for the past fifty ylears, and we experience everything that you do, my fjamily believe that i live in paradise , ha ha m but it is very expensive to live here , the electricity goes off frequenly , sosmetimes we cant get off thte island when there are no boatsto the mailnland, in past it was difficult to buy home things and we had to go to the mainland which then tookl eilght hours. , What i love so much is to be free to be myself, like wearilng what ilm comfortable wirh , not bothering about how my hair looks, the freemdom of just walking down to the beach or drilvling into the mountains, shopping everday for fresh vegetables ilnstead of Having to drive to a hyper supermarket. Yes living on an island is wonderful, just for the fact that we are In Nature always, much love to all,

Hope the Barangay head can do something about cleaning the beaches.Of course the world is not perfect but at least I’m still proud that our culture is a happy place and democratic minded people. I’m happy too that we are a Christian country and that people are so attached in our religious beliefs and traditions. I’m happy for you Jay and Sasha for choosing a remote area and a peaceful place. Good day to your family. As I admitted before, even though I am not a subscriber, I look forward to your videos and watch whenever possible. I don't subscribe so as not to feel obligated or bad when I fail to watch an episode upon uploading. And I give them a like if I agree and not when I don't. That way, you don't owe me an explanation and I don't owe you one. That is why it is both saddening and disturbing to read some of the comments, whether coming from Filipinos or foreigners. The anonymity of the people who consume social media brings the best and the worst in us. I , too, have been quite mad at some bloggers who paint the Philippines as all puppies and rainbows, not acknowledging that it has it's share of issues. I hope that you continue on your journey with the strength and fortitude who have shown when you stayed during the pandemic when most other popular bloggers really proved that their mettle can only last with GOOD VIBES. Thank you and good luck.

Were a family of 4, my daughters (4&7) and I are vegan too. My kids are half Filipino, and we're thinking of moving from Canada to the Philippines! We want to live off the grid and have a more simple free life. We just visited the Philippines in September and are planning to return in Nov 2024 to visit your island and a couple of others. It's funny seeing how similar our lives are, homeschooling vegans learning piano and swimming like fish!

Yes, it’s a massive decision to live in a country like the Ph. So many things to consider and you’d need Patient as it can be really frustrating in most times. I lived there most of my life. I miss some things like the beaches and islands scenery but I certainly dont miss the gov’t bureaucracy and how slack the system is. Anyway, to each their own. I guess it’s part of the package.

You stay because your channel grow, you gained a lot of FILIPINO Subscribers unlike in Thailand, you stayed long but your channel did not get a lot of attention. I remember When you arrived in the Philippines, you only had less than 10k subs but now you already have 300k plus.
@8milesfromhome
@8milesfromhome Жыл бұрын
I think you also didn’t watch our reason. You just made an assumption. Filipino views and subscriptions are tied to the caring people. But we could also get big views in India or Pakistan or Nepal. There is a deeper reason for staying here that goes beyond KZbin
@minke08
@minke08 Жыл бұрын
An extremely high number of Filipino people both in the Philippines and overseas are you tube viewers. You knew from a previous visit that some of the highest video views you had were from content you had made in the Philippines. You were in the process of having to make big life decisions when you went on your trip there just before the pandemic. What happened subsequently with the phenomenal, almost overnight, growth of your channel after it had struggled for so many years in Thailand and Portugal was as a direct result of being in the Philippines during the pandemic. That is why you stayed. You were suddenly getting the success you had always dreamed of. The other deeper reasons you now talk about were able to come into being because of the success you have had which has given you the financial means to make whatever decisions while you stay there. Freedom - Yes for now maybe, and what an incredible place for all of you to be in the meantime, but it is also somewhat of a Catch 22.

Why then , in pretty much every vlog do you have different hairstyle? I think you would find in the UK unless you are working or moving in circles or professions where it matters, people aren't bothered

Thats what i jtst commented about and No she does not i really dont think they want her being friends with any child on a continuing basis. I mean if there's a child around of course they'll let her play with them but it seems she's very much around her mom and dad 24/7. They used to let her go to a school in town where she could play with kids but now she doesn't go there anymore. It's been a long time since she's been there. She needs interaction with kids!!!. I mean she really needs that. It's too bad they don't let her go to that school at least once or twice a week😢 its very Odd to me

Thailand average foreign tourist arrival yearly is 35 million, while Philippines is only 4 to 5 milion. Eto ang mga problema ng pinas kaya konti lang ang mga foreign tourists at hindi sila nagtatagal sa ating bansa: 1. Corruption everywhere 2. Very very few modern infrastructures. 3. Wala tayong modernong transportation 4. Mahina or walang internet 5. Nawawalan ng kuryente (brownout) 5. Mahina or nawawalan or walang tubig 6. Nakawan at kikilan sa NAIA airport 7. Expensive accomodations 8. Illegal squatters, street dwellers and beggars everywhere, particularly children asking money from foreigners. Tapos sasabihin natin "Its more fun in the Phlippines" ??? Nakakahiya ! Tourism will boost our local economy kasi foreigners spend money in our country which helps our local business to earn more. The local and national government MUST do something to solve/fix these problems.

They don't let her have friends they don't let her go to school anymore to interact with kids her own age She's going to be a 30-year-old and a 7-year-old body. Okay because she's hanging around only her parents which is not easy at all. Mentally she needs interaction with kids and that's only strange thing I see about them. Other than that everything seems great. They're very good at teaching her but I just don't understand why they seclude her. She needs friends. Every child needs friends. Maybe they don't want her to be friends with Filipino kids. I mean you know what I mean

Freedom is actually the common reason why many foreigners chose PH as the best country for retirement. You can almost do everything without so much rules, except if its already illegal 😅... But too much freedom in the PH often results to lack of discipline to some filipinos. Sometimes its being abused too by some filipinos, just because they know that the authorities are not that strict..☹️☹️☹️
