I love that you don't make a huge deal about being vegan, you just make whatever is available work. You honestly are inspiring me to try some vegan foods. They look really good. Good luck in the rest of your shows.

Vegan and vegetarian food is delicious. I eat some meats but 80% is veggie, its a texture thing.

I remember going to see the nutcracker when I was in 3rd grade. As an adult I now have a family tradition to go see it every year. It’s so fun to bring my son and see his excitement while he’s young.

Actually, they use to make high cut leotards that were known as “French cut” that were the best. Later on, we would roll them up to make our already LONG legs look even L-O-N-G-E-R. I think they were made by Danskin, that had the leaping dancer logo on all their products.

Yes! Danskin leotards with the French Cut legs - sleeveless with the gathering at the front were my faves - this is back in the late 70's LOL OMG Im so OLD!!!! 61 and just started taking ballet again because I love it so much :)

Before following you, I just think ballerina are so fancy and kinda royalty, but watching you makes me feel like they are just girl like me who will cook Thanksgiving meal for family and have some funny dance while waiting for the elevator 😂 Anw thank you so much for sharing your life 💖

Hi Lori! First off, you look exquisite dancing every part you play ❤. Thank you so much for sharing the videos of full dance sequences. 2nd. I have battled alopecia where I lost my eyebrows & eyelashes. I learned from a professional how to take an eyelash strip & using tiny scissors ( the ones that sewers use) to make a small snip into the center of the strip ( from the lash side so the side you glue remains intact. Then if you need more flex to shape around your eye line, you can do this again on the left & right side of the center cut. Then add glue, let dry a little and carefully put into place. Also, it's easier to use tweezers to hold them for placement. You might want to get a couple of dollar store sets to practice on, but it works like a charm! They flex w/ no fighting .I actually cut them into 4 parts, put on eyeliner first, then glued them on. Even in quarters, they looked natural. Thanks for taking us along your day on Vlogmas ☺️

Tips with the lashes - cut them into two or three pieces and glue them on individually section by section - this way the corners don’t lift as easily and you don’t struggle as much with placement (less chance of one end popping up when you’re trying to get the other end to sit down). Also for extra oomph or just for fun, if you’ve never tried it, tip the outside of the lash up into your winged eyeliner a tiny bit rather than right on the lash line (so it’s at a slight upwards angle), it makes your eyes look open and stops the ends of the lash dragging down. If you feel you look tired, it’s a trick to look more awake 😁 Just a few tricks i learned. ❤️

Do you have friends? Do you stay in touch when you go to a different company? Everything is ballet 24/7. As is expected when you dance professionally. Even your vacations are about ballet. The worst thing about dance is it's mostly inside. That makes me nuts. Outside is the best. Nature, smells, animals, sunshine...You reside in the most beautiful state. My favorite city in fact. Just hope you touch grass & feel the sun once in a while and really enjoy the real world around you. You have no idea how incredibly important that is for overall health & spirit. Dancing is even better outside.
