I love the the way Benita is known as blue Nana. My man was known as paper nanny to me, my brother and cousins, because when we visited her she always had packs of drawing paper and crayons for us to make art with. Jessica is right. I’m surrounded by teachers…my parents, my husband, and my daughter. Teacher pay is so bad…it’s disrespectful. They spend their own money on their students and their classroom because the school districts don’t give them enough “classroom money”. So I can promise you that any teacher will love and adore gift cards of any kind or even cash. They don’t want or need any more mugs or Knick knacks or homemade goodies that you baked with your 5 year old who may or may not have wiped their nose while you had your back turned. 😂 And even if it’s $5 to Starbucks or Dunkin’ they are so grateful. But also, if you can’t afford it, don’t feel bad. If anybody knows what it’s like being on a tight budget it’s a teacher. ♥️🎄

Rewatching movies that I watched as a kid now as an adult is so much fun. The adult humor that just flew over my head as a little kid makes so many of those movies so much better now. Aladdin was the first movie I ever saw in the theatre and I loved it, when I rewatched it the as an adult I finally understood and caught all the funny ad-lib moments that Robin Williams had thrown in and the animators kept as part of the movie. Also, Jessica! Every time I make an effort of putting on makeup, you make me laugh so hard I cry it off!

It would be cool if you did something called Kintsugi to those broken ornaments. It’s a Japanese form of art where broken pottery is put back together with gold. It’s based on the pre is that by embracing flaws and imperfections, you can make and even stronger more beautiful piece of art. I own my own business. I am an independent teacher and I teach history and social studies and knitting and crochet on Outschool. I also teach ESL. I do not get 1099s from the places that I contract with. I am responsible for keeping up with how much I make. So hearing Jessica say that she sends 1099s is nice. It is very helpful. I am also getting ready to plan a vacation for my 19 year old son and. I am going to look into using Tyler's travel agency. As a teacher I appreciate anything that a student gives me but yes gift cards are amazing. My students tend to give me Amazon cards which is great because I can use them on myself or my classes.
