I have a few shares from prior days -- Not sure what happened with the plumber visit, but I learned from our HVAC guy that leaking will occur if the filter(?) that the water runs into gets clogged/calcified. He recommends changing just before winter each year. Unrelated to the humidifier, but I just learned that our garbage disposal is leaking. Due in part to Tyler's vlogmas activities, I feel equipped to tackle replacement during my PTO next week 🤞

Would love your best advice for a new grandma. My daughter just had her first child and my first grandchild. I've offered to help with whatever she needs to be done but I'm also being respectful of the time she needs to get comfortable as a new mom. I will be providing care for my grandson when she returns to work due to daycare not being available for a few months. It's only been a week and I have only seen him once. There is one called Crackerjacks in the town my husband works in and we used to live to take our daughters in when they were little. Always a treat and the children’s books sent this mother/teacher into seventh heaven!! One of my favorite Christmas memories is taking a horse drawn carriage ride around town and then visiting Crackerjacks to buy our oldest daughter Christmas gifts. I've been so busy today but feel that I haven't accomplished much. I have 1 more Storyworth story to write and have been editing others and adding pictures. That's a lot of work! Speaking of breaking ornaments… tonight while visiting my mom, she showed us her new nativity scene characters that she had recently bought. My step dad had been working all day building a manger for them to be displayed outside (the characters are about two feet tall.) Well my Mom had set one of the wise men on the coffee table, and we all looked away for two seconds and my two year old son ran his car at the wise man and knocked it off the table. It broke into no less than 100 pieces. 🙃
