I am poorly with a horrid cold and was thinking of making a lentil soup for my lunch when your video popped up. I think it was the universe telling me it was a good idea. Made the soup which was delicious and feeling a bit better this morning so all those good things in it are working. I’ve also got mushrooms in the fridge so will make the other dish too. Managed to buy reduced mushrooms in Tesco today, so made the mushroom pilau. So tasty - shall definitely be making it again - thank you so much for the recipe.

I love reverse Advent! I really must get the big basket out for that. Our church collects for the food bank, so the items are donated weekly. We’re going anyway so we may as well bring the donations, and a volunteer drives them to the food bank every week. Saves us a trip.
