Vlogmas Day 3: Cheese in Hot Chocolate & Decorating the Christmas Tree!

Yay Vlogmas! Finally getting to sit down and enjoy your videos! We’ve been dealing with a sick puppy so getting to relax and enjoy your vlogmas is a nice treat!! We usually only do little stockings for the pups with a few treats but I think I’m going to convince him this year that we should join in lol

New ornaments was on my bingo card - I love seeing what you pick each year! We never did stockings growing up, but we would have small gifts at Christmas Eve dinner. Now, I have a stocking bag advent calendar that I keep a LEGO from a past advent calendar in, and I usually put snacks, notes, or fun little things in for each day. This stocking bag advent thing is my favorite Christmas decoration ever!

When my 2 people(husband and mother) were still alive, we used to do Christmas stockings yearly. We would do them on Christmas Day before opening all the gifts. Kind of like an appetizer. And our dog Sam had one too. As I recall I think we would put in candy, a pack of cigarettes for my husband, just small cute things. Sam had his own doggy stocking. My mother was always very creative and very thoughtful when it came to gifts and cards and stockings. So, everything from her was always extra special and filled with love. I have not done stockings for many years, but I plan to do a stocking or 2 for myself next year. This year I have done a tree, wreaths, and decorated my whole livingroom( first time in a very long time).

Haven't had a stocking in a long time. I do have my very first stocking that I cherish. It was lovinging filled every year. The German advent calendar is awesome! German Christmas treats are so good! Your tree is beautiful! My tree used to have a eclectic assortment of ornaments as well as sentimental ones that my grandmother made and I made as a child. I haven't put up a tree in years! Maybe one year I will again.

Santa does our kids stockings that they open on Christmas Day and he leaves mostly treats and hygiene products for them. The adults in my family exchange stockings on Christmas Eve and we get all sorts of random things in our stockings! The Lego calendar is soooo cute I love seeing it come to life everyday! The tarte tea!!! Good but so tarte haha love seeing what you and Mike think of the teas!

Omg Puff! Cheese in hot cocoa 😂😂 We do stockings Christmas morning a lot of times before opening presents under the tree. Generally its food (snacks and candy), small cheaper items, scratch off lottery tickets, maybe an ornament. Lizzie will typically get food items and small toys.

We always had a stocking growing up - first thing we had Christmas morning. There would be fruit (satsumas) some coins, sweets and little cheap toys or gifts. Loved starting the day with our stockings... back then they were just one of our socks, we didn't have fancy Christmas stockings! P.S I'd forgotten how much I love your vlogmas music 😍 also still so happy you loved the UK so much 😊

That was the same for us too! Stockings first thing Christmas morning! I've never known about the oranges or satsumas, but this seems to be a popular tradition! I'm glad you love the music! I genuinely fell in love with the UK, and I think you'll see that in my vlogs come January.

I went to London for the first time last year and did a big Europe trip with my mum and dad and fell in love with it as well. The Harry Potter studio tour was amazing, would definitely do it again. My sister lives in London now so at least I have an excuse to go back 😂

We also do lots of candy and little gifts like you do. Bear also gets his own stocking with treats and a little toy. When I was little we also got an orange, an apple and £1. I went to the Harry Potter store at kings cross and it was so busy I just looked around and left, I like the one in New York City better. My mother still does stockings for everyone. I did them for my boys when they were little but when they hit 20, I stopped.

Well Santa dose the kids. He usually puts small toys, bath bombs -and candy in theirs. I fill my husbands. Usually just restock his bathroom stuff and candy. He dose mine… Every year he gets me a stack of scratch offs. I look forward to them every year. And the doggie gets treats (he used to get toys but he’s gotten too old to play with them)

awesome for vlogmas, we don't do stockings since its just myself and my husband and we honestly have 5 cats that we are busy dealing with most of the time. When we were little we used to do them but now its kinda meh

Our dog star used to know quite a few words truck for a drive and garbage she would go with dad to the dumpster and barn she loved hanging out in the barn with mike lol my hubby is mike too 😂 technically he is michel his father was French canadien he was born in Montreal and odie now doesn't get excited for drive or car we ask him if he wants to go for coffee he associates that with going for a drive to Tim hortons 😂 we do candy and little things in stockings I got mike a bell that says ring for a kiss this year 😂

I love penguins, but that penguin might've found the one thing cheese wouldn't be good in. Hot chocolate and cheese just sounds gross. lol My family has always done Christmas stockings. It sounds like ours our kinda like yours and just candy and smaller gifts. We do ours on Christmas morning because Santa fills them when he's there on Christmas Eve, obviously. (P.S. I have somehow fallen down a rabbit hole of watching police body cam videos on KZbin, so I am behind on your vlogmas videos -- insert face palm emoji here).
