I think maybe the comments regarding having a real job etc stem from the fact that having a job such as yours, and being able to take time off in the way you did, is not something that most people working 'normal' jobs are privileged enough to do. Maybe we should all be able to take the time off to do what you did but most people can't because of economic hardship etc. I think the comments along the lines of 'get over it' etc are insensitive but I understand the possible frustration behind these comments given that their jobs do not necessarily permit the kind of choices you, as an influencer, can make. That is not, of course, an invitation to make harsh comments which poke fun at your health and the shitty (alongside the immensely lucky and fortunate) conditions in which you find yourself working.

Regarding the mental health chat - I know you might put a pressure on yourself to make it constructive, but in reality I don’t think anyone is expecting that. Once again this was a wonderful vlogmas video and I enjoyed spending time with you. The vegan pho recipe looks delicious and I will have to try to make something similar. And thank you for your honesty and sharing some of the challenges you’ve been going through. As you said, we can be so critical of ourselves to the point that we question everything we do. I’m glad you are feeling stronger and more gentle with yourself. I struggle with this self criticism and one of my priorities is to be as kind to myself as I am with other people. You make some or the most aesthetically pleasing videos ever. we all notice the effort you put in! Edit: I gained a lot of coronavirus weight in 2021. I have been getting to my rowing machine 4-5 days a week to get a grip on my health. I feel so much better. Hang in there! I’m trying to think of my workouts as a nice part of my day, and not a chore. After 30 days, it’s gotten easier. I transitioned to permanent work from home this year, and I do love it. But people always raise their eyebrows at me. My response is, that I have extreme self discipline and have gained a level of trust from my employers that I am capable of getting my job done without commuting to the office.

I think what happened to you in 2021 is so relatable, and the way we are constantly looking our life, house, body, etc as not good enough is terrible. I just want to tell you that im glad you are back and the reason that we all missed you the most is because 1, you are very conscious and 2, you are so kind ( I can tell by the way you look at your dog with real love and kindness).
