Just because you are not where you want to be yet, it doesn’t mean that you can’t be content with life. I used to always seek for perfection in my life because i thought that would lead me to happiness. After moving out in my late 20s and being financially independent, i realised that life is not about being perfect because that’s not possible. This idea of having “a perfect life” is only going to ruin your mental health because there will be days you don’t feel your best and you will encounter struggles. It will take time to accept that life is a blend of challenging times and joyful moments - not just one or the other ✨
