Each relationship is different, but the way you both communicate and accept each other's flaws or weaknesses is such a refreshing concept. I think a lot of people (especially young) mistake comfort with boredom. I think love is comfort. You can rest, you can be easy, you can rely on them, you can just enjoy them, and you're just relaxed with them. I think people sometimes mix that up with boredom and decide to break it up when in actuality, you are so compatible and comfortable because you love that person that much.

I love these q&a vlogs! I remember during the boyfriend tag that you said Mike likes to talk even more than you. I think it would be so cool to have an Ask Mike series, where he gets to answer questions, he seems to be very insightful. I've seen other KZbinr's do the same type of thing. I so agree with what you said Fleur! Now that I am in a committed and serious relationship I really missed the exciting and blissful feeling of just having like a "crush". i totally agree..the best advice i tell my friends and little sisters is enjoy the phases as you come to them. So many people want to rush through dating to living together or getting married etc...enjoy dating, enjoy being engaged..take them step by step and enjoy them as they come because you wont be able to get those feelings of those phases back once they are gone... Fleur, you are very lucky to have a guy like Mike (he seems so grounded). You and I share the same birthday (19th July) so I know how emotional we can get sometimes and carried away with our thoughts and feelings, we manage to really REALLY over think everything in like a split second!! I honestly didn't think you were interrupting him. Couples who have been together for a long time are usually on the same wave link and it doesn't bother him or her when they finish each other's sentence. It shows you really know and are are comfortable with each other. I think all the advice is wonderful. I agree with Mike that people shouldn't expect fairytails, but make the most of their life anyway. Would love to see more videos like this with the both of you! : )

I completely agree with the time apart statement. I love being alone, relaxing, just thinking. I'm not someone who can be with friends or anybody all the time. I lose my mind. I also think keeping your friends is a MAJOR thing. So many people tend to be with the boyfriend or girlfriend all the time, completely forgetting about friendships. Even if you do get married, you need friends. Never forget about your friends when you are in relationships.

I don't know about uni, I think if you stick it out rather than coming home every weekend, it helps you make friends and settle in better. That's not a criticism of what Fleur did, and of course people do what's best for them, but I think had it been me that was there, I wouldn't have come home at all and made a huge effort to make the most of the time I had there.

so glad I didnt go to LSE! When I applied to Uni 4/5 years ago, that was where I wanted to go but I never did in the end and after you say things like that about the social life, I'm so happy cos the Uni I ended up going to had an amazing social life & I was so happy :)

What you said about uni made me cry. That is exactly how I feel now and it is only the 4th day in. I am just so unhappy, purely for the social aspect. I love my classes and learning, but I hate having no real friends here and being away from my boyfriend. I have cried everyday here. I am also considering transferring. I really hope I can get through it. It's only slightly bearable. Hopefully these 3 years will go by fast and I can say at the end of it that it was worth it.

i go to a really unsocial university. i completely understand. I have the opposite problem though, i'm single and all of my friends are in relationships. i feel very lonely sometimes at school and often come home every weekend because i hate being at school so much.
